Cinnamon Bentota Beach 5* Hotel is a solid top five! It's been a long time since we've had a vacation in a hotel by the ocean, where almost everything is perfect!
The four of us stayed in Cinnamon in two rooms (parents and adult children are also a married couple) in early March 2025.
We would especially like to thank the very good management, excellent cuisine of two types: European and Asian, comfortable large rooms, daily cleaning and compliments from the hotel in the form of capsule Espresso coffee, snacks of biscuits, fruits and nuts, as well as replenishing the supply of water and coffee capsules, very friendly staff, always ready to help, and even branded gifts from the management on the last evening before departure - all this is incredibly pleasant!
We already stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, when it was still 4*. And then we liked it too.
Now the hotel has become a 5* level. Of course, the prices are not low. And we initially booked and paid for accommodation with breakfast only, hoping to get out of the hotel to the Bentota village at least for dinner. But in fact, they ate only in the hotel itself. Everything is very convenient, delicious and caring! A couple of times we still went out for dinner - there are a couple of restaurants nearby, where it's not bad either. But the Cinnamon Hotel itself is still much better! Besides, it was humid and stuffy outside in the evenings. And the hotel itself is just an oasis of amenities and easier to relax in every way.
The staff is friendly, everyone greets the guests - from cleaners and repairmen to managers. Several times a day, the staff asks if everything is convenient for us and how they can help. This undoubtedly makes your vacation more enjoyable and memorable.
About our vacation at Cinnamon Bentota Beach 5*, we had the most unforgettable impressions: undoubtedly, this is a luxury hotel and the best in Bentota! We will try to come back here for a rest again!

I gave it a pure 2 stars due to the negligence of the Sri Lankans. at the last moment, on a nervous trip, when we were about to leave and were late for the plane, it turned out that the room was not fully paid for, could they have informed us earlier? That's a good question that won't be answered. they cheat at every turn, even at dinner, that the amount of x2 is increasing at the moment, an outrage!

A very good high-level hotel. Food, service, sea, territory. This space easily creates the feeling that there are few guests, but in fact there are almost no empty seats. There is always a place on the sun beds near the pool, in the shade and in the sun. Spa, lobby, pool restaurant, outdoor restaurant - it's nice to be everywhere. The soft background music from the outdoor speakers is especially pleasant and creates a special mood for a leisurely comfortable relaxing holiday. This is the place that you definitely want to return to
