A good inexpensive hotel. Out of season, a 2-bed room with its own shower is 24-28 USD. Polite, good-natured staff. In the same building as the hotel there are 2 local canteens with inexpensive and quite tasty food. 7-10 minutes to Halic metro station on foot.
Among the disadvantages - there was no kettle in the room, I went down to the reception for hot water. In general, who needs a separate inexpensive room, it seems to me a very good option.

Convenient location, reasonable price, cleanliness, breakfast included, modest but sufficient. Quite a colorful street, there are many catering outlets nearby, directly opposite, across the bay is the Galata Tower, all kinds of attractions can be reached on foot. A good budget option.

At the same time, after confirming the reservation, they sent a message about cash payment, and I, in turn, informed them that I would not have Internet access and would not be able to communicate with them, but everything is in force and I will arrive.
In general, they just gave up on housing

Russians are being deceived when settling in. After confirming the special request for cash payment at the time of arrival, the reservation is canceled with a note that the card is invalid (because the Russian Federation) and immediately offers a room one and a half times more expensive.

If you don't want to stay outside or catch something from past residents, don't contact this hotel. First, briefly about the main disadvantages and advantages.
Minuses
1. Booking does not mean anything, it will be canceled if there is a more profitable customer.
2. A dirty bed from a previous tenant as a system of earnings, not a mistake. Apparently, the room between the guests is rented for a couple of hours to couples and then they do not change the linen.
Positive
1. Very cheap.
2. A good breakfast for the price.
3. Close to the center.
Now learn more about the disadvantages.
1. We booked through Booking using a European bank card. We were going to stop at the beginning and end of the trip. A few days before the trip, we were refused our first reservation, saying that the card did not work. We offered to pay remotely to the account. The hotel has stopped corresponding with us. At the same time, there were no problems with booking and card in 4 other hotels. On the day of arrival, we came to the hotel and met with 3 outraged Russians who refused to check in because the rooms are small and everything is terrible. Apparently, they were the ones who were planned to take our place (there were 3 of us too). The hotel said that the reservation was canceled due to the card, but we will be accommodated, as there are empty seats.
Before moving out, we immediately paid for the last day of our trip at this hotel at the reception (it was planned to return to Istanbul in a couple of days) so that we could not refer to problems with the card. I will write about the number below.
A similar situation with the map is described in the Google reviews of other guests of this hotel. The fact is that after the cancellation of the reservation, you can not leave a review on the Booking, which the owners of the hotel use. Therefore, there are good reviews on the Booking from those who were not kicked out, referring to the map. But there are enough of them in Google. Judging by the chronology, the hotel used to be quite good, they started treating guests like cattle about a year ago. The owner must have changed.
2. About bed linen. In the first race, we were tired and did not pay attention to the underwear. More precisely, black pellets were visible on the white sheets, but the sheets are synthetic and old. We thought that something just didn't come off during the washing. The second time, there were clear traces of "physiological fluids" on the sheets and other stains. When we were asked to change our underwear, we were told that it was already late and they would change it only tomorrow. I had to turn all the linen inside out, change the side of the sheet and sleep in my clothes. By the way, the pillows, the blanket and the mattress under the linen are all covered in creepy yellow spots.
When we changed it, we remembered that the hotel really wanted to know exactly when we would arrive. Local Turks said that in Istanbul, couples often rent a hotel for a couple of hours, apparently, then they just don't change their underwear at the Cibali Hotel. Or maybe they don't change their underwear at all if they don't consider it dirty, and it doesn't matter how many guests slept on it.
Another of the disadvantages is a shower leaking onto the floor, an unwashed floor, diluted shampoo and shower gel. It was stupid to do the latter, because liquids are layered and it is immediately noticeable to the eye.

For the price – excellent) The staff is ready to help, but does not speak much English. Everything is stylish, but unkempt, not very clean, it's better not to look under the beds. The room has not been cleaned in 5 nights not once. Breakfast is meager. The bathroom is tiny, cramped. WiFi is normal. The location is very convenient (when the bridge repairs are completed nearby).
