The architecture is inspired by the Byzantine style typical of Orthodox churches, especially large cathedrals such as Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. The observation deck in front of the temple offers a breathtaking view of the city. Inside, mosaics and spacious halls are impressive. A must-visit place in Belgrade!

It is a very vivid impression, the temple is more spectacular from the inside than from the outside...The incomparable mosaics, the play of light, the giant chandelier, the faces of the saints create a very blissful and solemn atmosphere.Byzantine architectural traditions are embodied in the Cathedral of St. Sava with unsurpassed splendor.
