If you come to Bukhara and there is no place to eat delicious and at the same time not expensive, I advise you to get 4 km from the city
But the kebabs are delicious
I didn't like it. The mutton in the tandoor is half fat, the meat is smelly. It costs 177 thousand per kg, the minimum portion is 300 grams. Of the kebabs, it turned out to be edible only on the bone. The rest (they took each one with a skewer, except ground) tasteless, dryish, cumin was added. Shish kebab for 29 (!) thousand. Achuchuk salad is tomatoes and onions without any seasoning. A teapot of black tea with a grain of 16 thousand. It's expensive for such a diner on the outskirts and tasteless.
Modest tables, but delicious just endlessly. The best tandoor in Bukhara - that's what several locals told us at once. It is convenient to come in after visiting Chor Bakr
The prices are very high and do not correspond to what is written on the menu. We ordered meat in a tandoor for 175,000 and a stick of shish kebab for 22,000, juice for 18,000. We were charged 387,000. They brought 4 sticks of shish kebab instead of one, and a lot of stuff that wasn't ordered.
All meat tastes disgusting: bitter, sometimes raw, and sometimes overcooked.
Avoid this place.
Very tasty. Prices for Uzbekistan may be slightly higher than average, but still 155’000 soums (~ 1000 rubles) came out for two. The menu as of July 2024 is attached.
The taxi driver recommended the place.
Lamb baked in tandoori is the most delicious thing I've eaten in my life. My wife was eating a lamb kebab. She liked him very much too, although she doesn't like mutton.
The impression of the institution is spoiled by the desire of the staff to cash in on tourists.
1. A salad was immediately placed on the table, although we had just sat down at the table and had not yet seen the menu
2. Instead of the ordered dishes, more expensive dishes are brought. Instead of the usual salad, they brought achchik chuchuk salad, instead of the usual flatbread non, they brought a puff pastry fatir (fatir is brought only to tourists). In addition to the salad, a portion of Chakka (sour cream) was brought.
Thus, the account was increased by 40,000 soums.
The only thing that helped was that my wife took a picture of the menu.
The most unpleasant thing about this whole situation is that the staff passes it all off as a misunderstanding, although when ordering we showed the names of the dishes on the menu and pronounced them aloud.
A simple teahouse. But the meat is simply divine. This is the best meat we have tasted in 2 weeks in Uzbekistan. We will be ready for medium service, tables without tablecloths, etc. But it's worth it.
It is known for its meat tandoor. I arrived, but there was nothing, I offered a barbecue instead, well, it's not bad, but not so much that I just go out of town for it. I think I wasted my time. Sorry. For some reason, it was very smoky there at some point and they were in no hurry to remove someone else's dirty dishes. The employee tried to fix the situation, thanks for that, but the mood was spoiled, the prices are too high for barbecue.
Probably before leaving, you should call and find out if the tandoor will be in half an hour.
If you want to experience a gastronomic orgasm in Bukhara, then you are definitely here!!! It tastes better than vaguri here, I have not tried anywhere else, the meat is crispy on the outside and soft and juicy inside mmmmmmm, and the hot katlama will not leave anyone indifferent!!! Tandoor gusht is simply magnificent! The staff is very friendly, everyone asked how we liked everything, a very cozy courtyard. I would give this place ten fives 👌
Incredibly delicious meat: lamb cooked in a tandoor! Very tasty puff pastry tortillas! You could have put all 10 stars here if the waiters hadn't thrown the bill. No one brings the menu, you can't wait for the check either, and the amount is called from the ceiling. So it's better to ask about the prices right away, so that you don't be amazed at the bill in a roadside cafe, comparable to an expensive restaurant. However, even with such rudeness, the price tag in rubles will seem ridiculous to you))))) For lunch for two, we got a little more than a thousand.
A good place for an evening out with friends or with a loved one.
The menu includes national dishes shish kebab, lagman, delicious salads. We really liked it
I'll start like this: we were in prison on an excursion. My wife got into a conversation with the woman who sells tickets. She immediately asked what they had eaten and what they had tasted. Well, I recommended this place. Since the ideas for lunch were already exhausted, let's go here... And there is one of the attractions nearby. Came... Eat up! But there are people. The menu is a4 and 5 pictures. Well, there's nothing to do, you signed up yourself. We ordered a salad, tea, and mutton from tandoor... I eat all kinds of meat and everything is always delicious to me, but my wife and child are picky. But after the test, I look at the approving smiles on their faces, saying that I haven't eaten anything like that and I'm surprised. Mutton with tea was not enough, + tea and shish kebab (lumpy) as an additive. And there are even happier faces. In general, at first glance, as they say, a roadside cafe, but after a meal you realize that you did not drive in vain. The guys know their business and it's right that their half of the city (and maybe the whole) is praised.
MUST-VISIT
They generally go to Bukhara for meat. It is here with a special fat, which the locals are very proud of…
All Bukharans know the place, be sure to visit the City of the Dead and here.
Tandoor meat is divine!
Be careful, the portion is 500 grams. If you are alone, take half. I didn't know🥹
But I caught myself thinking that if there was half, I would have ordered more…
It's so delicious that you eat even such an "unaffordable" portion😅
Bon appetit to everyone!
PS
You'll have to roll out from behind the table anyway😂
Very tasty tandoor mutton! It's the tastiest we've ever tasted!

Expectations were not met! We specially came to have dinner at an advertised institution. The cafe is located on the highway. It is designed for its own, but tourists "can be served." We ordered the vaunted mutton in a tandoor of 600 gr., of which 300 gr. a huge bone and pieces of fat… The meat is stewed and soft. A vegetable salad and tea were also ordered. There are no complaints about the salad-tomatoes, greens, onions, two slices of cucumber and one radish - in half ... Additionally, they brought a dish that we did not order - Chakka - fermented milk (the consistency of soft cottage cheese, tastes sour), they did not refuse, they tried it, with meat and flatbread (it is layered) it was delicious! Sugar was not brought to tea, we waited for it until the tea was cold - they brought lumpy… When paying, it turned out that a teapot of tea cost 3,000 soums, and sugar cost 6,000 soums! We paid with a card and had to wait at the checkout for another 15 minutes, because the queue from the locals for pickup is huge, although only two tables were occupied inside! They also charge 12% of the cost of the receipt for the service! After-sales service for 3!!
Exotic. Several people recommended Bukhara as a legendary place where the best meat is cooked in a cauldron in the region. We bought into the reviews and drove off.
I took off one star for the unsanitary condition of the cafe, although this is a problem of the entire catering service of Uzbekistan, there are very few clean and aesthetic places of food in the republic.
I still didn't understand if beef was being prepared in the cafe, because lamb was brought to us to order meat. We limited the dish to 500 grams (although the waiter offered 1 kg for two adults at once). The bill came out at 190,000 soums for meat, flatbread, salad and tea (we did not order tea because we do not drink, but it was brought anyway)
For an untrained European stomach, mutton is a very heavy food. The two-year-old daughter threw up right in the cafe after a small piece of meat.
My wife ate more and felt poisoning at night (vomiting, diarrhea).
I only got off with diarrhea.
That's why I took off the second star.
Delicious, inexpensive, atmospheric, despite the fact that this is a roadside cafe) Take a lamb kebab, you will not regret 👍🏻 Part of the cafe, as if part of an older building - entourage.
Great place! Insanely delicious meat! We ordered a kebab cauldron, a tenderloin kebab and a skewer on a bone! We miscalculated the volume of portions - but we overcame everything! They cook the most delicious shish kebab that I have tasted in Uzbekistan! I highly recommend you to visit! 10 points!!!
After reading the reviews, we went to this place to taste very tasty meat. The establishment is located outside the city. In fact:- a very strange place, uncomfortable, like a canteen; - the water in the sink flows periodically, if you're lucky, you'll wash your hands before eating; - the meat is very mediocre to go out of town for it; - Flies!!! There are a lot of flies, including in the salad;
- it is difficult to go back to the city, a taxi is not called, we caught a car on the highway for a very long time. I do not recommend it to anyone. There are many places in Bukhara with much tastier meat and a pleasant atmosphere.
Lamb in tandoor is delicious, people come here from Bukhara to try the local cuisine, it's outside the city, by taxi from the center of Bukhara in 15 minutes
We went there after listening to the locals and the guide about the magically delicious meat that is made there, the dish is simply called Tandoor, the meat is cooked in tandoor, for a long time, in fact the place turned out to be outside the city, among construction markets and resembles a roadside cafe, the tandoor dish was not impressed at all, the meat is harsh and not very spicy, but the kebab was very pleased (well, they also guessed to order it), the kebab is incomparable, very tender and melts in your mouth and of course the tortillas are also good, in general, because of only the kebabs, it's definitely not worth going and you can find something in the city, at very affordable prices, but it's like everywhere else in the city.
You must definitely come here! Definitely!!!
There is something magical and mystical in this place. Of course, with the traditional oriental beauty of a history several centuries long. The buildings of 500 years ago are still standing and will stand for many more centuries…
There you will also be offered to feed the birds on the inner square and in no case (!) you should not miss lunch at the Chorbakr cafe of the same name in 5 minutes.
There are several halls, a couple of them with air conditioning. In the middle of the day, you can't think of a better place to have lunch. The order included a kufta, a spine, two salads and tortillas. One of the tortillas (fatir) was served hot along with the meat.
It was very tasty and satisfying!
Excellent meat, barbecue, a very popular place with the locals, be sure to try the lamb kebab, it's great, it's not a restaurant, cafe, there are really a lot of visitors in the evening, it's a long way from the city center, 15-20 minutes by taxi
They cook delicious food. But they cheat. We ordered a Tandoor of 3 kg. Of these, cooked in a tandoor, more than a kilogram. The rest is paired. It is cooked and served in the oven as from a tandoor
Everyone recommends a must-visit.
In general, not bad, tasty, fast.
Surprisingly, everything is without checks, the waiter thinks in his mind, he doesn't even check))))
A cemetery where members of a high-ranking family have been buried for thousands of years. Peaceful and calm. There is a famous mutton restaurant in tandoor on the road. According to legends, meat is transported from here by plane to Moscow)) fabulously delicious
A wonderful place , very tasty . Someone writes that there are flies and torn tablecloths...nothing like that. It is located outside the city, but this is not a minus, you can look at the cotton fields along the way. Ten minutes to go.
Everyone recommended us to come here. Have arrived. The menu is on 1 page. Their signature meat was served slightly downwind. It's delicious, but not straight wah.. ) 25% service in the hall with a conder, which surprised me. The staff is not efficient.
Excellent tandoor meat and kebabs of all kinds, salads, awesome bread
, the place is simple, there are many places, but it's better to order in the evening. The day is freer
