The location is generally good, near the beach in 5 minutes, but otherwise, you can not do without a car here.
The nearest supermarkets are Super U in 15 minutes and Intermart La Croasett in 10 minutes by car.
Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the hotel itself, it was filmed through the owners, it's very cool that there is security on the territory. In two months of life, the light was turned off 10-15 times, so was the water, but in general it was not so annoying.
There are few playgrounds in Mauritius, but you can find something, I recommend reading telegram channels.
The nature in Mauritius is beautiful, the winter is magnificent.

Very nice beach nearby. Friendly staff and security. But a little lazy....like all the locals.
