Chimera (also called Chiraly Yanartash) is worth climbing up and looking at the fiery torches bursting out of the ground. Yes, the road is not the easiest. But if you have time and do not rush, it is quite possible to master it. We arrived there around 16 o'clock and stayed until 18. During this time, besides us, there were 3 more girls and NO ONE else!!! But when we were already descending, we met perhaps a hundred people who were in a hurry to climb the Chimera by dusk. Yes, it's probably more beautiful there at dusk, but will you be able to see something from behind other people's backs?
The entrance is 45 lira, a rather heavy half-hour climb, if you are in bad shape it will be difficult. A huge bunch of people. Upon reaching the goal, a small piece of gray rock and three bonfires burning from the ground. As a natural phenomenon, it's funny. From the point of view of entertainment and beauty-nothing interesting. We were driving in passing, we caught the twilight, so it's not a pity. There is no point in going far on purpose or taking an excursion, the spectacle is not particularly impressive. There are many other really worthwhile beautiful places in Turkey.
It's a beautiful place. There are not many lights from the ground. A very beautiful starry sky. One of the disadvantages is slippery rocks on the trail. Be careful, wear good sports shoes
