We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a separate guide and did not regret it. We were vacationing with a child of 4 years old. Before that, we had lunch in the veranda, so I will compare it with the veranda, because this is also a Russian cuisine restaurant. I'll start with the staff, very attentive waiters, work quickly and attentively. There were fewer visitors in Chekhov at the time we were there than in the veranda, which has a sense of a Russian canteen. Fuss and so on. It's a pleasant atmosphere, calm, yes, there are no decorations and pencils, but the kitchen is more diverse and, to my subjective taste, better. Nice music. I will definitely come back here!

Great restaurant.
Fruit is served at the meeting.
A large selection of dishes of Russian / European and Asian cuisine.
But for me, the most important thing was the takeaway dishes (rice, chicken broth, buckwheat). Only for this I put 5 points, since my wife needed a simple diet.
I took pasta with bacon and cheese and orange juice myself. Delicious, a portion of good size. There are a lot of people in the restaurant, the atmosphere is pleasant, calm. Not only Russians eat, there are many Europeans.
Prices are slightly above average.

We went to eat something different from the seafood mix.. The hodgepodge turned out to have squid, fish, and a tom yam flavor anyway. But this is not the general negative: payment by SBP, in rubles, the QR link assumes a rate of 3.5, i.e. in my case, the total amount is 5005 in rubles, while the waitress puts her QR code at 430 rubles more expensive.. That's the math in the I.S. in Phuket. I won't go on my own anymore, and I won't advise others.

We missed home - made Russian cuisine . A decent place, everything is clean, nice. Prices are above average . There is also Thai cuisine! Tom yam is probably the most delicious on the coast of Kata. All guests are greeted with a compliment in the form of a fruit plate, it's nice. The pizza turned out to be raw, they asked to redo it (but still the pizza leaves much to be desired).
