The building is made of glass and everything consists of multicolored pipes bending in all directions. One disadvantage is that it fits into a parallelepiped. I would make it more complex in shape. It has an interesting view of Paris, Montmartre mountain is spectacularly visible from the cathedral "Sacred Heart of Christ". Interesting exhibitions are held there. There are Russian artists there - Chagall, for example.
An interesting place, Chagall, Kandinsky, Magritte, and a lot of interesting things. The building is large, there are a lot of visitors, but it does not bother at all. Aesthetics and comfort, light and space!
One of the largest museums of modern art and industrial design in Europe. The building is built in the high-tech style with a combination of straight lines, an abundance of elevators, stairs, transparent walls, glass and metal bulkheads. The original solution was to take the technical elements (reinforcement joints, electrical wiring, ventilation and water supply pipes) outside, giving the building a unique appearance and freeing up significant useful areas inside. The extravagant design caused a mixed reaction from contemporaries: to some, the building looked like an oil refinery. But nowadays the Center is the third most visited landmark in Paris (after the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre). Numerous exhibitions feature paintings by Picasso, Chagall, Kandinsky, and Malevich.
The entrance ticket for all expositions is 14 euros (the price is valid for September 2019). Excellent view of Paris from the observation decks of the upper floors. Free high-speed Wi-Fi. Free toilet in the lobby.
