I never understood why this branch was not recommended in the work chat, because I sent and received parcels through it several times. Today I realized why - I couldn't send a beautifully packaged gift with a book to Almaty. At the reception, the girl demanded to open the package and show the contents that allegedly prohibited items could be 🤦♂️ I carefully cut the bubble wrap, pulled out a book that was pasted with gift paper with congratulations. The girl was not satisfied with this and she argued her refusal to accept the parcel with the presence of a SIM card in this book and a fine coming to her for this. To be honest, I did not understand why a fine would be imposed on her if I specify all my data when sending. I showed that this is a soft book, it crumples easily and it definitely does not feel like an electronic or prohibited item. Finally: I did not tear the wrapping paper and sent the parcel through another service. I do not recommend it.
