A small hotel on the coast among dense thickets, because of this, the buildings on the 1st and second floors are almost always dark, but beautiful. The food in the main restaurant (breakfast and lunch) is on the same level, it is not possible to have lunch elsewhere. Of the evening restaurants, Rauxa is the tastiest (where the show takes place). The beach is not bad, but a small, burnt-out hotel next to it looks creepy. Of the visitors, the Germans were the most, a few Americans and very few Mexicans. There are a lot of minority representatives. We were offered to take a superior room - they refused, as it turned out later they did the right thing, there is no significant difference with regular rooms. The hotel is clean, the room is well cleaned, there are many coati animals running around the territory, sometimes agoutis and iguanas come. There is a non-intrusive animation. In general, the hotel is not bad, but it looks better in the pictures than in reality.
A good hotel for your money. One of the disadvantages is the food in restaurants for dinner. There is only a menu, there is no buffet for dinner and it is not tasty at all, which is strange for Mesquica. But a 30-minute taxi ride away is the stunning Playa del Carmen! It's an eternal celebration in the evening! And very tasty food!)) And the pool is too small... but it's hard to worry about)
