The hotel has a great location! True-o-Biche is one of the best beaches, in my opinion. The hotel offers a wonderful view of the ocean.
The food was breakfast and dinner, the food was delicious, lots of seafood. A good selection of cheeses, oysters, hedgehog caviar. Minus - all drinks at dinner are paid, even water!
The room was standard. Small, shabby with a thatched roof over the bed (((. Exotic is crazy in the negative sense of the word. It's hard to fall asleep when you don't know what's going to fall on you at night. Lizards were constantly running around the room, once jumped right out of the bag. The terrace is large, but for some reason it was never cleaned, and one day someone's broken egg was found on it, it's scary to even imagine whose)). In the middle of the night, when I couldn't sleep and turned on the TV, I saw the shadow of a flock of cockroaches on the screen, apparently they live inside))). You need to take an improved room so as not to experience discomfort if you are not a fan of exotics. It's very comfortable inside and it has a neat balcony.
The territory of the hotel is compact, but well-maintained. Two swimming pools, a bar next to the restaurant, and a gym are all located very close to each other. Ducks and parrots live on the territory.
The nearest cafe and shop are 5 minutes away to the right. If you need a large selection of cafes, shops and an exchange office, go to the left from the exit of the hotel for about 12 minutes.
The hotel fully corresponds to its 3 stars and in the price-quality ratio.
A great hotel for your money. Green, well-groomed territory, cleanliness is monitored. The classic room has a large bed, seating, safe, refrigerator, kettle and refillable tea/coffee. We were given 1 liter of water daily. Standard sockets- the adapter was not useful. No mosquitoes were seen during the rest, several geckos came to the balcony at night. Half board, large selection and good quality, drinks at dinner for an additional fee.for a fee (cocktails 250-300 mur). The maid only took tips from the bed, and once she left money on the bedside table, she didn't take it.
The location is excellent- there is a bus stop nearby (you can go to Port Louis/GrandBay), a fruit stand, and a supermarket about 20 minutes on foot.
There are 2 swimming pools, a gym, and a spa on site.
The beach has its own plot at the very beginning of the Trou aux Biches, sun beds, umbrellas, beach towels. The only drawback is that the approach is not very pleasant, take corals, but you can swim with a mask. A little further along the beach there is clean sand, you can swim there. The hotel has its own boat station- kayaks, catamarans, can be booked and used.
Russian Russian is spoken by the staff in English and French, there is one girl who tries to speak Russian, and they even gave her a memo in Russian (in Latin). There is animation in the afternoon and evening, and for new arrivals, the hotel organizes a bike ride once a week.
Everything was great!
The hotel's territory is surrounded by greenery
At night, the illumination of lawns, trees, and shrubs creates a special mystery and beauty!
I can't say for the rest of the hotel rooms, but our room was 3 out of 5 in terms of comfort. In the bedroom, the ceiling is made in the form of a cone made of planks covered with sugar cane stalks. There's probably something romantic about it... but I didn't get it.
Opposite the room is a palm tree, on which the parrots have built their nests, literally clinging to all the branches. Their hubbub and singing in the morning make it clear that you are in the tropics. Cool!
The hotel is located just across the street from the shore. There are sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. Everyone had enough.
The hotel's guests are overwhelmingly European.
The evening entertainment program on the pool stage was full of variety on all days of rest: dances, aboriginal songs, contests. 👍
The food is monotonous, but delicious.
There are several swimming pools on site. Personally, I've never been swimming. - I came to surf from the salty waves, the sun, the underwater flora and fauna.
There is a private parking, which is important if you rent a car. Without a car, it's hard to imagine the opportunity to visit as many places and attractions of the island as possible.
I want to warn you right away - change money at the airport - the best course is there. And secondly, exchangers are hard to find. And they work up to a maximum of 15-16 hours. However, as well as the bulk of shops, boutiques, and entertainment venues.
In general, I recommend this hotel.
Budget friendly.
