The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Novy Afon railway station. We rested with my wife at Aslan's two times. August 2023, August 2024. Everything is very good. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a sea view or a mountain view. The room has a shower room, air conditioning, double bed, towels, wardrobe, TV. You can rent beach towels. Downstairs there is a kitchen with a veranda and sun loungers by the pool. Swing, barbecue. In the refrigerators, soft drinks, water, wine, ice cream - everything can be bought from the Hostess - Cherie. Special thanks to her for the comfort and coziness in the hotel. She washes, cleans, irons, washes, sweeps, etc. - it's all her. All this is five meters from the sea. The beach is 200 meters, Pebbles from large to small, the water is very clean and transparent.

Just returned from a vacation from Abkhazia, only positive impressions remained. Clear sea (especially in the morning, you can often see dolphins, medium-sized pebbles). My daughter really liked the pool. Two beautiful verandas: one on the ground floor, where you can cook, and the second floor above (there are sun loungers and tables where you can spend time alone or have a cup of coffee with your neighbors). We were one hundred percent satisfied with the rest). The owner is good-natured, friendly, every day he was interested in whether everything was fine with us, he didn't even want to leave. I advise you to visit. Shari, more good visitors!

The most pleasant impressions of Abkhazia are the Castle Guest House. Very clean! Cozy! Quiet! Clean rooms, clean pool, two towels for each, including for children. Closed area, 100% security. If to Abkhazia, then here😊, there is a cool cafe next to the shore🤗💖

Many thanks to Aslan and Shari for a wonderful vacation! The location of the hotel is on the first line, the most beautiful view of the sea! The beach is the cleanest! The rooms are clean, cold and hot water around the clock, everything is new. The room has good sound insulation. You can buy soft drinks and more at the hotel. There is a kitchen with all utensils, relaxation areas, a magnificent veranda with sun loungers and tables, an iron, a washing machine for an additional fee.a fee, a clothes dryer. There is also a cleanest swimming pool on the territory. The place is quiet, cozy and peaceful! The rest was wonderful! Now only to you!

If everything is according to the rules, then this is it. Everything needs to be asked . Don't make any noise at 21 o'clock. The doors to the sea are locked at 21 o'clock. You can drink beer by the pool, but not tea.. It is not recommended to talk in whispers on the veranda even at 22 o'clock. The hotel has a kitchen for self-cooking.but there are also a lot of prohibitions. Do not fry the fish - it smells, etc. I can not imagine how to celebrate the new year there. We had a vacation with my husband and little daughter in November of the 22nd year. We were delighted! A fresh, cozy hotel, direct access to the sea. In November, there were not many vacationers, every morning we went to have breakfast right on the beach to the water completely alone. Great location. The hotel has a kitchen, you can cook something yourself. The hotel is suitable for year-round living, the rooms have air conditioning. A wonderful sincere host. Only positive emotions remained. Thank you, we will recommend it to friends and relatives.

I liked the hotel. Clean, cozy, there is a place to relax, a nice pool. It is very convenient that access to the beach is directly from the hotel. The beach is pebbly, at the entrance to the sea there is coarse sand, deeper are large stones. It is better to use aquashouses. The sea is clean, there are fish, crabs, small jellyfish (not burning). At the entrance from the beach, there is a shower on site, you can wash off the salt and sand. Near the pool, when the floor is wet, it is very slippery.
There are several cafes nearby. The most pleasant thing is the Psyrtskha next to the bus stop. In principle, you can cook by yourself - there is everything you need in the shared kitchen. But there may be difficulties with the purchase of products if you are without a car. There are only very small shops within walking distance.
It takes about an hour to get to the center of New Athos at a leisurely pace, and about half an hour to get to the train station (it's difficult in the heat). You can catch a car or minibus if you go out on the highway. Shari (the maid) gave us the contacts of the taxi service, it turned out to be cheaper and more convenient than catching on the highway.
There is a railway near the hotel. There were no night trains during the week of rest. There are 3-4 trains a day, so it doesn't really bother.

My friend and I returned from Abkhazia today.At Castie, we were greeted like family, leaving with tears in our eyes. The location is wonderful, 20 meters to the sea, a few steps and we are on the beach. A great place for a relaxing holiday away from the noisy Sukhumi highway. Good sound insulation, thanks to the maid Shari, the rooms and the territory are very clean and cozy.New furniture and appliances, free Wi-Fi, calmly communicated via Whatsapp with Russia. A beautiful, well-maintained territory with Parking for cars is completely closed from outsiders. Gorgeous view from the large balcony equipped with sun loungers. The highlight of the guest house is a clean swimming pool with lighting, heating and hydro massage. Of the 12 days of our holiday, it rained for 4 days, the sea was stormy, they did not dare to swim in the sea, the pool was a "lifesaver". Effective relaxation is to swim in it every night before going to bed. Aslan is a friendly and helpful host. Together with the wonderful assistant Shari, they do everything to make vacationers feel at home. Aslan and Shari, you are great!!! Thank you so much for a fabulous vacation.We really want to get back to you!!!

I got around to writing a review about our wonderful, wonderful super vacation, I liked everything, the location is the best, the sea is at my feet, who writes about the dirty sea, I'm sorry, you can expect everything from nature, if it gets slow somewhere, then it can wash up to the shore too much, but the sea itself cleans itself, for all the days of our stay it is with July 31 to August 11, the sea was almost always the cleanest👆the rooms are comfortable, who complains about the noise of trains from the railway, close the windows, the sound insulation is gorgeous, the air conditioner is working✊ The pool is also excellent, always clean, in the evenings it pleases the eye with a backlight😁Special thanks to the owner Aslan and the employee Shari for the wonderful reception of our large 11-person company😘 we will recommend it to everyone and we hope to come back🙂

The guest house wins against the background of luhari hotels (park hotel near the Monastery) where bedbugs are found, both in terms of cost and quality of services provided. By the way, we booked accommodation there-but we had to run away.

If you like privacy from shops, cafes and other people, then you can choose this hotel. Without a car, you can walk from the city in 30 minutes under the hot sun or by taxi. The beach is large pebbles, then the stones are overgrown with green silt... There is a small piece of beach with small pebbles and even sand. That's where everyone swims. There is a railway nearby, but it does not interfere with your life. The hotel is good, everything is there for living, the pool is gorgeous and saves in case of a storm, there is a place to spend time. The owner is excellent, friendly. He takes care of his hotel. But he has no luck with the staff! She spoils everything and scares with her worthless stay at this hotel. Her name is kind of Shari... It's something. Always unhappy, not friendly, on her own mind. He only sits on the phone. It would be better to clean floors, toilets, knock down cobwebs and collect dead flies. But no. It is more important for her to run around the territory and show her displeasure. Of course, this spoils everything and does not bring the hotel positive reviews and rejection from customers. The hotel is good, but the sea is terrible. When you go out on the balcony, it already stinks of hydrogen sulfide very strongly, decomposing algae lie on the beach closer to the water, and flies fly over them. Algae is the source of the smell. Closer to the sea, the smell increases. I don't want to swim in such a place. I don't want to eat in the shared kitchen either because of the smell of the sea, I even feel sick. There may be dampness in the rooms, there are no towel rails, good heat is used instead. After visiting this hotel, I think that you need to go to New Athos for hiking in the mountains, not to the sea. Keep this in mind when planning your vacation! If you want to go to the sea, then you are not here!

When you come back from the beach, there is no way to wash your feet somewhere, as a result, all the sand is dragged to the rooms. The owner is nervous and swears because of this. For some reason, he showed my friend that he went with go-pro. Let it be known to you: people have the right to shoot everything they see with their own eyes. The issue of publication is another matter. No one has published anything anywhere. We came on vacation, took a camera with us, why don't we have the right to shoot everything we want? A very rude response from the official representative. I do not advise anyone to go to this accommodation option! Uncomfortable pillows, dirty rooms, Cold tiles on the deck, weak water pressure. Nearby, the railway absolutely does not allow you to sleep.
