Spoiler: A wonderful hotel if you want quiet.
We got in such a way that during the entire flight we were with friends (4 people) and another married couple for several days. It's a thrill. The pool and the beach belonged only to us. We had a column with us for fun. Music and no screeching and squeaking around.
The staff speaks English, not a single word of Russian.
Wi-fi was good at first, but it got worse some day. The neighbors found a router near the room and rebooted it, the Internet flew. The pool, the one next to it, was cleaned every day. The Internet is worse there.
The room is normal. The bed is comfortable, the room was cleaned every day. The linen is clean. Once I came across pillowcases in a hole, but snow-white. We didn't ask to change them, but the staff quickly changed them themselves.
There are mosquitoes, we bought a fumigator in Chilaw. Going out for dinner is also better
On weekends, the hotel is in demand among the locals. Nice people, they came with their families. They got to know us, took pictures with us.
Nutrition: do not give up water before eating. It reduces the sharpness of the pepper. At first we refused, but then we realized. When there were more people, the food was a Shvets table, and when there were few, it was on the menu. It is better to take a full meal or 2 meals. There are no restaurants nearby. We had breakfast and dinner. It was enough. At lunch, when with fruit, when Sasha went to the restaurant. We didn't starve. The menu is peculiar. A lot of sharp stuff, but we accepted it. You need to understand where you're going.
Of course, there is a disadvantage that there are no shops nearby, but we managed without it.
We went to Chilaw. There is a vegetable market there, the situation there, of course, is not so good in terms of sanitation. But they survived that too. There were few fruits.
I forgot to finish writing about crows. There are many of them. The first pool seems to be specially for them. They bathe in it all the time. On the beach, do not leave small objects on the beach, they will drag you away and not blink an eye. She tried to steal a box of matches from us. She grabbed it in her beak and sat down on the sunbed next to it. We scared her off, she dropped the boxes.
There are dogs on the beach. Good. Although I'm afraid of other people's dogs, these only protected us))). It is better not to feed them, otherwise they may come to the room later. By the way, it is better to hang towels on the chairs near the room on the back so that they are not on the seat. A dog can sleep on your table or chair at night. She slept on a towel like that, we immediately replaced it. And they were holding a cloth to wipe off the table.

A great hotel for a quiet stay. A clean beach. The room has everything you need, daily cleaning. The food is good. Very friendly staff, always ready to help.
