I visited this clinic for a consultation with plastic surgeon Yerlan Tulebaev about septoplasty for perforation of the nasal septum. The consultation went smoothly, but already at this stage questions arose — the doctor could not announce the cost of the operation, saying that the information would be provided at the reception. I was met at the reception by the receptionist, who announced the price — 600,000 tenge. However, there was another woman nearby (it is unclear who she is and what relation she has to the clinic), who intervened in the conversation and began to insist that the operation should cost 800,000, referring to the use of a septoscope and an endoscope. At the same time, the administrator clearly stated that these tools were included in the initial cost, but the second woman continued to insist on her own. Before my eyes, an open dispute began between the staff about the price, concerning my health and the planned operation. As a result, the administrator, although she did not agree, was forced to agree to the amount of 800,000 tenge under pressure from another woman. This behavior is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns. Particular indignation was caused by the fact that the announced amount was only in cash, without a check, contract or any official confirmation. This creates reasonable suspicions that the funds may be distributed informally, bypassing tax reporting, and that the clinic absolves itself of responsibility for the consequences of the intervention. When a person seeks medical help, especially on such sensitive issues, they have the right to rely on professionalism, transparency and respectful attitude. What I saw was an on—the-spot haggling, an attempt to impose an inflated price and maximize monetization of someone else's problem. This approach discredits both the clinic and the doctor I originally came to talk to. After what I saw, the trust in this organization is completely lost. I highly recommend not contacting this clinic, especially if you expect honest and professional medical care.
