Well, maybe I wasn't very lucky, it was January 1st, it was very, very cold inside, and the toilet is generally like outside. Bread...it felt like it was served from yesterday's table, extremely long and unfortunately absolutely not tasty.
We came from an excursion from the desert, tired and hungry, and still the impression of this place is not particularly pleasant.
I definitely would not have gone there the second time, it would have been better to buy cheese and fruit in the store.

An amazing place with tables outside. Around the old town, you feel like in a fairy tale. I asked them to serve me their noodles with dill separately (they are served with meat on the menu). The waiter asked if I was a vegetarian. As a result, they brought this noodles with amazing grilled vegetables with a delicious sauce. And I also asked them to bring tortillas (like kutabs) without meat - they made it for me with greens, cheese, potatoes. And a very tasty vegetable salad.
Local artists performed in a folk style. A very refined place in a wonderful location. All the tables were occupied

In general, I recommend everyone to visit Khiva. The city is a monument, a lot of interesting things and everything is within walking distance. If you're lucky with a guide, it's just a fairy tale! There are many places where you can have a snack, a huge selection of souvenirs.

A good cafe in the center of old Khiva. If you want to try Khorezm pilaf, it is usually ready by 13:00 in the afternoon. It is better to book a table in advance, especially if you will be in Khiva at the height of the season.

Caesar was without sauce - some kind of tasteless ointment, I had to add salt to compensate somehow, there were also no crackers. After the cradle (ground kebab) was brought, I realized that Caesar was not bad, the cradle was liquid in consistency and tasted like nothing, they forgot to add spices. An egg pancake with meat (the same cradle) seems acceptable, but without enthusiasm. The tortilla is not the worst, but an ordinary loaf is better)) Tea is normal, beer is normal, there were only bottled light 3 different to choose from, it was not on the menu, you need to ask. There is a menu with prices, the prices are relevant - this is already an achievement. Prices, apparently, are average for Khiva. They were not allowed inside for some unknown reason - supposedly everything was occupied, although in fact no one was inside. At the same time, at the end of August, closer to 10 p.m., it was already cool, they did not have blankets, plus the wind was blowing - it constantly lifted the loose tablecloth on the table and scattered napkins. If the weather outside allows, then the view of the square and the minaret is quite pleasant. After 10 p.m., they begin to curl up, carry tables and chairs next to you, as if hinting that it's time for you to wrap up

There is no card payment terminal. They require cash. The bill was written out by hand, they refuse to put a stamp on it. When paying with cash, they do not give a cash receipt. Tips are included in the bill. It is impossible to cross out.
The staff does not speak Russian or speaks very poorly. At 12 p.m., we made a pre-order - fish for 6 hours. We waited until eight. There are only two types of wine: one red and one white. Both are local spills.
