Vacation on a Chinese island in December 2019. We paid for the "Standard" without a balcony overlooking the mountains. I really got a more comfortable one on the ground floor 1102, at the end of the left wing, with access to the garden to the lake. When entering the room, the smell of dampness hits the nose. Then you get used to it. All furniture and plumbing are new. Fresh renovation. The safe is free (not used). The linen is snow-white, two towels per person.+ for feet, bathrobe. There are bath slippers in the closet, but they are used (not used), there are beach bags. There are many accessories in the bathroom. After use, the cleaners put in new ones. Towels are changed every day. There is a kettle and tea set in the room. Two 0.5l bottles of water are brought to the room daily. In the hotel store, such water costs 100 rubles.
attention: The TV shows only Chinese TV, so take a USB stick with you. Our films were recorded in AVI format. Set up the TV using the side buttons only. You can't set up a TV on a USB stick from the remote control. The TV menu is also in Chinese.
WI-FI is available only in the room. No VPNs worked for us from the hotel's Internet network. They only work in roaming mode.
Territory: It's a miracle!!! There are all kinds of plants in the garden. Even the mangroves. The botanical garden is under the windows. There are twenty species of palm trees, including coconut trees. Two huge pools, one of which is for children. There is so much water in it that even lying down you will not be able to drown. The depth of the adult pool is 1.2 meters and two lifeguards are loaded. The pool bar is chargeable. There is no animation and in the evening the hotel goes to sleep. There is silence and tranquility all around. Young people are not here.
Meals: We had a Breakfast+Dinner concept. The food deserves a rating of 4. There is enough food and decent quality. For breakfast, there is always yogurt from the vending machine, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes, boiled and fried dumplings, noodles, porridge, sausages, etc. Fruits of 2-3 types. Tea and coffee are DISGUSTING!!!! For breakfast, instead of tea, they took cola or watermelon. A richer dinner. Always Peking duck is very tasty, chicken or beef with mushrooms, lots of side dishes, greens, fruits, and very tasty ice cream (unlimited) coffee, pistachio, ice cream and strawberry. And of course tea and coffee are DISGUSTING!!!! There are many dishes prepared for the Chinese that we are even afraid to approach. However, a European tourist will always find food to taste and in sufficient quantity. Those who have "FB+" meals for lunch and dinner can take dry wine or beer at the bar. Beer is bottled from a plastic 1.5l bottle, which is not ice. By the way, draft beer in Yalong starts from 200 rubles. per glass 0.4 liters.
Beach: You can take a beach cart in 4 minutes or walk from the main pool along the path along the pond in 10 minutes. For comparison, the hotel guide gives 670, at the reception 650. The Bank of China gives 720, but this procedure will take 30-40min. because you will have to fill out forms and wait for the registration of a resident. And the nearest bank is located in Dodonghai. By the way, you can get there by bus 15 and 25. The fare is 7 yuan. It is necessary to pay for the calculation because they do not give change. In Dodonghai, at the Pineapple shopping center, we bought French and Australian wine for 28 yuan per bottle. Everything else can be bought from us in Yalong. However, it is a little cheaper to eat in a cafe or restaurant in Dodonghai than in the vicinity of our bay.
And now about the Anex Tour. The flight is planned so that you arrive at the hotel after midnight, i.e. you will lose the entire daylight and paid meals. And the departure from the hotel will be the same - after midnight. But only on this day you will have to vacate the room before 12 o'clock, which we did not do. As a result, the $100 deposit was not returned to us. There were quite a few people like us. Half-asleep, half-drunk and half-drunk tourists, in a crowd of one and a half thousand, are terrible in anger. The low capacity of Sanya wooden airport will make any Russian person a rebel.
