In 10 years of traveling, I've seen different things. But this... I'll start in order. After the cruise, we returned to Venice again. Check-in from 14.00, we were at the hotel at 10.30. It was very cold that day and it rained all day. We came to the hotel, bon giorno - silence in response, but okay. We sat down on the couch and waited. The receptionist - Lilian is minding her own business, we are not paying attention. We are waiting... After our question - do we need passports - our answer is check-in from 14.00. Ok, let's go for a walk. An hour later, the child fell asleep in the stroller, and the downpour intensified, we decided to return to the hotel. When we arrive, Lillian smokes right in the room. Well, that is, he stands with one foot on the balcony, and the smoke is a column in the room. At her husband's request, either close the door or not smoke in the room. The answer was - you have a check-in from 14 and you can leave here altogether. I clarified: the whole hotel is a smoking area. Lilian insisted that we need to leave the hotel. That is, a sleeping child who breathes smoke from a hotel employee in a closed room is the norm. I understand if we had come to his house, but we arrived at the hotel! All over the world, before check-in, the hotel staff offers to sit in the reception area and wait until the room is ready. And only in this hellish place do people get kicked out in the rain. We went outside. We waited until 14.00, we get up, give our passports. Lillian says I won't put you up. The room is reserved for two, and there are three of you. Someone will have to leave. This is really the first time I've heard this. Now the child is 1.9 years old. Since the moment of birth, we have been with the baby in 6 hotels, 4 countries and never once, no one had a question for the infant!!!. Especially when you consider that we requested a cot in advance and resolved this issue with a booking employee to avoid problems. We have received confirmation of the cot. A booking employee personally explained the composition of the travelers to the hotel, but Lilian apparently fancied himself the owner of the mansion. He even turned off the Wi-Fi when he heard that I would be calling the booking office. and not only for us, but for all the guests! I said, we'll call the booking office and find out why they refuse to settle us. And then Lilian realized that he would not take a ride - he decided to check us in. The rest of the day we listened to the rumble of a nearby construction site and the fan in the bathroom. In shock, I even forgot to take pictures of the leaky sheets and the chair was so dirty that I had to cover it with a towel to sit down. But in vain... Because upon arrival, I kept my promise and called the booking office. So it turned out that Lilian had already managed to call and say that we had left the room dirty and were rude to him. I uploaded a video on YouTube of him smoking and kicking us out into the street. Let people know who was rude. Well, there's no point even writing about dirt. I always make the bed in all hotels, not to litter. And it would be nice if such an attitude was only for us. Well, I didn't like the people - I decided to snap. So he did not greet /say goodbye to any guest. The couple came to the room located next to the reception. He saw them come in. The maid WITHOUT KNOCKING!!! She opened the door with her key and went in. Have you ever seen this anywhere? And the receptionist didn't stop her. That's a personal space for your money. In any case, do not check into this hotel. Maybe Lillian won't be in the mood again. We lived in Montecarlo before the cruise, it is even closer to San Marco and it is simply incomparable. I don't know how we ended up in the Casa del Nobile. Don't repeat our mistake.
