We checked into this hotel for 2 nights, as we had a short business trip to Ankara. I don't know what people are writing about (most likely about the room in the basement).
Everything was great with us. We arrived early in the morning, there were no available rooms, but we were offered to come later, at 12:30. I want to reassure those who write: "they made us wait": Guys, the check-in and check-out times are listed on each hotel's website, and the hotel doesn't have to check you in in advance (I work in the hotel industry myself).
Despite checking in at 16, we were settled earlier, at 12:30 p.m. lunch time. Of course, the cleanliness in the room is not the most ideal, but it is quite tolerable for the level of such a hotel.
I really liked the room itself, it's beautiful, cozy, and comfortable. There is hot water, warmth inside, a nice blanket on the bed, a comfortable mattress and pillows. In general, we were satisfied with the room (at least somewhere something is broken and old)
The location of the hotel is also very good, 400 meters from the bus stop. The center and various attractions are within reasonable limits. In 20 minutes you can walk to any selected point. There are shops nearby, would you like delivery? They'll bring it.
Nice, good-looking men are sitting at the reception. They will always help and tell you how and what is the best way to get there, they will give you dishes and everything you need. Don't hesitate to ask.
In short, don't worry, the hotel matches the price/quality. I justified myself 100%.
Maybe they have problems with the rooms on the lower floors, but we lived in 101 rooms and were very satisfied! I would come back again, and I will come back if there is any trip.
