It's a terrible airport. The smell of cigarettes is everywhere. People sleep all over the seats and ignore that they can't even sit down with children. Not to the shops at all. Never take a connection in this disgusting place, it is better to pay a little more expensive, but fly through Belgrade or Doha.
In general, the airport is convenient. The only problem is the alerts. At first they say that boarding the flight is delayed for 2 hours, and then suddenly it starts on time. It is profitable to fly to Russia by Turkish companies, although more expensive than Russian ones, because the route is much shorter and the flight is 1.5 hours faster.
