Due to the circumstances, we ended up in this restaurant... The expectation and reality turned out to be twofold. We have heard and read so many recommendations, and we will describe all the pros and cons below.
1. You can only get into the restaurant by pre-booking, being in the restaurant for about three hours, I had to observe this picture, there are empty tables for two hours, and people coming in from the street are not allowed ...
2. Not very friendly staff who make comments to visitors... For a moment, we didn't come to the restaurant to be silent, but to chat with friends.
3. The food is delicious, with traditional Belarusian cuisine, the serving is beautiful.
4. Delicious beer, this is the biggest plus of this institution.
5. The atmosphere is tense, not at all about the hospitality of Belarus.

Delicious, interesting. I almost liked the ribs, they were a little greasy, but they tasted good. The place isn't cheap, but it's not exactly very expensive either. Maybe I was just unlucky. I recommend you to visit and better take the fish!

We recently celebrated a birthday here, we were there for the first time, we really liked some of the dishes, and some were completely disappointed, the borscht with a rubber piece of meat was very sad and the ear was completely upset (( the broth is some kind of water without salt, we expected rich fishy, the potatoes in the ear taste like yesterday's boiled with this very taste of yesterday, a small piece of river fish had the aroma of mud, and tiny pieces of red fish were greasy, it tasted unpleasant, the portion of fish soup itself was scanty, in general, I will definitely never order borscht and fish soup in Bulbash again. I was pleased with the pancakes with mushrooms, they turned out to be tastier than with meat.
The fish cutlets with corn puree are good, but the portion is tiny.
The drinks include delicious tomato tincture and wheat beer. Special thanks to the girl for her sincere service and congratulations to the birthday boy on December 30, 2024 at 21 o'clock, you don't often see this lately. The atmosphere of this institution is pleasant, the music sounds unobtrusive, does not interfere with the conversation. Another disadvantage is that the portions are too small and the cost of the dishes is high, as there were slightly different expectations from the beer restaurant in terms of grams)) well, and the quality of some of the described dishes.

It's some kind of gustatory orgasm. So delicious and proper Pancakes, cutlet, onion, everything is easy to lick your fingers. Dumplings, sauce, serving, tongue. The kitchen is top class, it's not a pity for such money. The service, the atmosphere, the interior are also at the highest level. We were here 2 times over the weekend in Minsk, I really liked the cuisine, the atmosphere, the service.
The only thing that happened when trying to book was a strange situation - a young man on the phone said that there were no places for the near future, but we were walking by anyway - we decided to look in, and they gave us a table without any problems. And there were a lot of free tables. Why he said that is not clear.

A wonderful place in the very center of Minsk. Excellent cuisine, friendly staff and delicious beers and liqueurs.
It may seem like a controversial interior, but the impressions of the food cover everything. In addition, there is a comfortable outdoor terrace. The price tag is strong, more expensive than other places, but it's all worth it.

Overall impression:
The Bulbashi restaurant attracted us with a lot of positive reviews and recommendations. We expected to enjoy traditional Belarusian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere, but the impressions remained mixed.
Advantages:
Location: In the city center, convenient to get to, beautiful view of the historical part of Minsk.
Local cuisine: The menu includes many traditional dishes made from local products, which is important to support local producers.
🏛️ Atmosphere: A veranda with a pleasant view, an atmospheric place.
Minuses:
Inaccessibility: The place is not very convenient for passengers with limited mobility, as the hall itself and the veranda have steps.
🕰️ Slow service: The dishes had to wait about 30-40 minutes.
The obsession of the staff: The waiter often came up and hurried us with the order, even when we made it clear that we would call him ourselves.
Forgetfulness: Requests for ice-free lemonade were ignored twice.
🔥 The quality of the dishes: The dessert turned out to be burnt, which significantly spoiled the taste.
Interior: The design was more like a kebab shop, which did not meet our expectations.
Conclusion:
The Bulbashi restaurant was not as impressive as we expected. Despite the good selection of local products and convenient location, the service leaves much to be desired. The service was slow, the staff was intrusive, and the quality of some dishes did not meet the standards.
We give 3 out of 5 stars for the delicious food, but next time we will choose another place for dinner.

One of the advantages: beautiful serving of drinks in crystal glasses. The waiters are trying very hard. I liked the pies with rice.
On the downside: all the draniki are very greasy, then the stomach hurts, probably because of the quality of the reused oil.
The fish used in salads and draniki is clearly not fresh.
One big disadvantage: the strange location of the halls, all the guests can hear each other's conversations.

A very unpleasant impression was left by the unrepresented waiter/receptionist at the entrance to the restaurant. She refused to visit, did not give full information about what time it was possible to book, after that she stopped answering questions, pointedly turned away and began to press buttons on the computer. We stood for three minutes, waiting for the girl to pay attention to us, but she continued to stand with her back turned, expressing complete disrespect. We left the restaurant in disbelief, not understanding what caused such contempt for us.
We read wonderful reviews, we really wanted to visit this place, but it's a pity that one particular waiter/receptionist was able to spoil the impression of the restaurant so much.

We arrived in Minsk with colleagues, and according to the recommendations of friends, we decided to eat at this institution – it was not possible. The boorish waitress refused to put our company at a large table, referring to: "We already had a large company, they left a bad review." The request to put everyone separately was also refused. I think there's no need to explain further – we're gone. For the sake of interest, we reached the nearest restaurant of the chain on Freedom Square. Surprisingly, we were immediately offered accommodation.
Dear management, have a conversation with your staff. This attitude towards the guests is simply inadequate. I didn't manage to eat the national cuisine, it's a pity. Of course, we will not return anymore.
