A landmark place - I love monuments to letters! I have already written about the letter "E" in Ulyanovsk, I have not yet reached the letter "O" in Vologda...
The highlight of this monument is the uniqueness of this letter: there is such a letter in the Belarusian language!
"U" with a "hat" is located in the center of Polotsk, 220 km from Minsk. By the way, the GEOGRAPHICAL CENTER of EUROPE is very close (I will write in another review).
You can get to Polotsk by minibus for 480 rubles of the Russian Federation. I went on purpose: two iconic places, and for sweets - the beautiful St. Sophia Cathedral!
