Hotel British House epitomizes comfort, coziness, and nature. During our stay, we were greeted with outstanding hospitality from the landlord and receptionist, who were always ready to assist. Upon entering the foyer, we were greeted by lush greenery, creating a serene atmosphere akin to a botanical garden.
Ascending the stairs, we entered our impeccably clean and well-lit hotel room adorned with wooden furniture that exuded warmth. The artwork on the walls added to the ambiance, filling our hearts with joy. Though the bathroom was compact, it was equipped with all the essentials. Amenities such as a fan, iron, teapot, and electric heater were provided, although the latter remained unused given the mild April weather.
The bed offered unparalleled comfort, providing a heavenly sleeping experience. The balcony, an ideal spot for meditation or enjoying coffee, offered picturesque views—particularly enchanting during rainy weather, evoking scenes from a French film where one can immerse oneself in a novel.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable, with Rustaveli metro station a mere 8-minute walk away, providing easy access to various destinations.
Overall, Hotel British House is a sanctuary where one would eagerly return each day, making it an undeniable choice for accommodation.
The hotel is almost in the center of Tbilisi. Very nice interior, located on the corner of 2 streets. But very pleasant inside. There is a small garden inside. As well as the reception and the small breakfast room are very well done. The interior is pleasing to the eye. Everything is new and everything works. The noise insulation got in the way a bit in the evening. Because the doors let in almost all sounds. We constantly heard the phone ringing. The floors are very beautiful, but nevertheless creaky! However, none of this prevented sleeping on comfortable beds. The staff are very friendly young people who were very happy to help order delivery to the hotel! Just a miracle!
The determining factor in choosing a hotel during our second visit to Georgia was the walking distance to the main attractions of the Old Town and the British House was perfect for us. You will go up to Mtatsmindy Mountain, you will go down to the Shota Rustaveli metro station, and from there you will reach all the iconic places of Tbilisi along the most famous street of the same name. And if you get tired of walking, Yandex taxi will arrive at the hotel within five minutes. Mr. Shota and all the staff will readily tell you where to get to, what and where to find. Previous reviews convey the real atmosphere of a family hotel, where you feel not like a guest, but a guest. I definitely recommend it.
