An extremely unpleasant impression from the museum staff. They climb up with cries of "Don't lean against the glass! Leave stains! "... " Don't lean against the window! She's under the alarm! "... We weren't leaning against anything. We didn't touch the windows. We were just getting closer... Probably at a distance inaccessible to Belarusian caretakers... I just wanted to look at the details..... We've traveled half the world... And as Nikita Mikhalkov's character said: " Nothing more strange and ridiculous has happened to me in any country in the world.".. The inscriptions are everywhere only in Belarusian. At the entrance to each hall on a carnation(!) there are leaflets with information in Russian. 7.5 Belarusian rubles would not be a pity if you understood that you are giving money to the state of Belarus, and not for the maintenance of all these vague things that only repel... I would add a photo review, but photos in this museum are for a fee, and there is nothing to photograph at all! Don't waste money on it.
And you can't buy an excursion, as is possible in any museum in Russia. You only need to order a few days in advance.
.
A great museum, you can learn a lot of interesting things about the history of the city. There are also interesting expositions. I would like to mention the polite and responsive staff. I advise everyone to visit the museum😃🙂👍
A cool museum with quite interesting exhibits and the staff, as far as I'm concerned, is quite interesting, the impressions were good, definitely 5 stars.
The museum is small but very informative. It was very interesting, it was a pity that I skimped on paying for photos and did not take pictures of Roman coins. In addition to the main exhibition, temporary exhibitions are held on the 1st floor.
This is the beginning of our city.
The guide tells a lot of interesting things.
To visit the past, to see the exhibits, to live for some time with the ancestors.
It is informative and interesting.
An excellent museum, very compact, you can get acquainted with the history of the region in a little over an hour. A modern exposition. The only drawback is that all the inscriptions are in Belarusian. I had to use a Google translator
The first museum visited by a family in Brest. And they were impressed. If you love Belarus, be sure to take the time, spare no money and go. We were lucky with the guide Ekaterina :). I conducted a very interesting tour of the halls of history . From the primitive system to the present day. It was interesting, we learned a lot of interesting things about this land.
If you want to raise your intellectual level, pay tribute to your country if you live here, or broaden your horizons if you are a tourist, be sure to visit this museum with a guide!
A unique place, it is very valuable that it was found and preserved! A subtle and revealing exposition, made with a soul. You can download an audio guide and listen to each instance, but the problem is that the mobile Internet is almost not working inside(
Informative. A number of different thematic events and temporary exhibitions are held. Everyone will be able to find something interesting for themselves.
We were in the Museum of local lore itself and in its branch "Berestye", where the original buildings of an ancient settlement dated to the 12th century are presented. I liked all the expositions.
A very interesting museum. I did not even expect such a wide exposition about life in Belarus and in particular Brest, starting from the most ancient times, ending with the Soviet Union and the present time.
I would like to mention the exhibition of the fauna of Brest separately. Dozens of different animals, birds (stuffed) are presented . I was particularly impressed by the collection of insects
A good museum, exhibits worthy of attention. I have vivid impressions of the visit. The only thing I didn't like was that all the signatures were in Belarusian only. I would like to see Russian/English duplicated.
The tour is good and interesting, but the staff at the museum leaves much to be desired. At the entrance to the photo, 2 women were rude "allegedly touched the painting", although they were standing 10 cm away from it, while the other violated personal boundaries by grabbing her hand and was outraged that we were laughing with her. The attitude towards the guests is at the lowest level. The first impression ruined everything
A normal museum. Sometimes it's interesting, sometimes it's boring. It is possible to have an interesting conversation with the working staff. In one room there is an exhibition of a cell and a prisoner. I was scared
A great museum. It's a pity that the excavations were stopped.

the first impression was completely ruined, they immediately talked rudely at the entrance, raised their tone.
although the tour with another guide was good, but the attitude is just terrible to the guests.
I wouldn't come back here next time.
In such small areas, it was possible to place much of the heritage of the Brest region... And much more information is shared by the museum staff... We are also pleased with the large number of various one-time and even serial events held within the walls of this museum, within the walls of this ancient, architecturally and historically interesting building.
It was very interesting to visit upon arrival from Minsk, pleasant staff, and excellent exhibits. I especially liked the small nature museum compared to the historical one.
A good museum, good guides, do not pass by! And photos in clothes from different times and interesting exhibits, and electronic intellectual boards on history, and souvenirs. Everything is OK.

The usual standard museum of a provincial town. Cheap and angry.
Olga is an interesting guide. There are no questions about the exhibition either.
But the whole impression of "before" and "after" is spoiled by the administrators of the scoop release at the entrance. If you want to feel out for yourself what "there are many of you - I am alone" is, contact the employees at the entrance (for any question). I would have had such workbooks in my hands by now.
It is interesting for both children and adults. Excellent guides, without even ordering a tour, told and showed a lot. The expositions are decent. The impressions are the best.
