An excellent museum with a very interesting exposition, unexpectedly very large for a small town. Many topics are considered, including quite atypical ones.
I also liked the authentic building, the tour was very intimate and atmospheric. I definitely recommend it.
An interesting exposition covers all historical epochs of the region's history. The friendly and knowledgeable staff of the museum. The museum is small, but the exposition is interesting. We recommend that you definitely visit.
A small but cozy museum. And I really liked our guide, who was the deputy. the director of the museum. An enthusiastic, erudite specialist. He tells it very interestingly.
Interestingly, it is advisable to take a guide. The places are ancient, interesting, though ravaged by wars and civil strife

Well, first of all, it turns out that there are open days in museums. It was on such a day that I got there (thanks a lot to the employees for their friendliness and attentiveness). Despite the seemingly small size on the outside, there is something to see and explore inside. It was very interesting and informative to see the exhibits from different times of the existence of the Braslav region. It is mandatory to visit 😉👐
If you come to Braslav, be sure to go to the Museum of local lore. A large number of exhibits. You will learn the history of the region. It is interesting for both adults and children.
Wonderful!! We took a tour - it was very informative. You need to know your history. The price is low with so many original exhibits! I recommend you to visit!!
The museum is very good, compared with other cities in Belarus. You can get an excursion from a museum employee, or you can walk on your own. Most of the expositions are devoted to the Great Patriotic War. There is a peasant's corner. Many exhibits would need to be dusted off, a little overlooked.
A very cozy and atmospheric place. Friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks for the informative excursion into the history of the city and the region to the wonderful guide Veronika Stanislavovna!
The museum is certainly interesting. But I would like a greater variety of exhibits, old photographs of Braslav itself, "geniuses of the place", stories and some interesting facts about the city. A typical museum, of which there are many. I repeat: it's not bad, but I would like some variety. Just the subjective opinion of a grateful visitor.
I was there three years ago
I must say right away: it's better to take a tour from the bored girls who run this place
in fact, I got an idea of how this region has lived since its foundation
I will report: I lived a boring life, fishing from the historical business and all sorts of crafts made of clay such as tiles and facing tiles on the stove (regular raids and other conflicts brightened up this situation)
but anyway, it's better to go so that this city is remembered not only for booze and the beach :)
P.S.
of the disadvantages, I can only mention that the room without air conditioning was very hot, but I will not reduce the points for this
The museum is very cozy, there are no excursions after 18, unfortunately this is not indicated anywhere

A good collection of everyday life from ancient Belarusian times, and forward through history to post-Soviet times. It's a pity that the museum is small. There are cool exhibits from the 2nd World War
I tried to get into the museum during working hours - I came across a closed door, unfortunately, I did not find any announcements or notes about the reason for this situation. I knocked, called, and returned a couple of hours later - alas...
