It's a great place to relax. There are only a few inconveniences.
We rented a place for tents, electricity can only be found at the reception, a refrigerator or freezer can not be found, although prices for Viva Brasla are not cheap, for 2 days for 6 people (4 tents + tent, separate payment) we gave 420 rubles. (360p + 60 tent). And in normal times it costs 120 rubles. For that kind of money, you can make your stay more comfortable!
And toilets...a separate story, there are public ones, this is a greeting from the 60s, not very pleasant from the word at all. There is a civil toilet, but it can only be accessed when the dining room is open, in general, if you're lucky.
And about the beach, it seems to be on the shore of the lake, but! there is no beach and swimming is generally prohibited, you need to go to the nearest one in 10 minutes, but there is a pier with evening lighting, it is very cool to walk there in the evening, stand.
The very atmosphere of this place covers all the disadvantages! I recommend a visit.

We had a rest with our family at the base on August 3 - 4. This is the best weekend ever. Very well maintained territory, friendly staff who responds to any requests. There are things to do on the territory for both children and adults: swings, gazebos, a children's slide, a rope town. The road to the beach is just some kind of aromatherapy: the scent of pine forest and freshness from the water.
We will definitely come back here more than once!

We stopped at the Braslav Lakes recreation center on 30.08.2023 for 6 nights. We lived in a bungalow. I really liked the rest, the territory of the base is large and well-groomed, good houses, comfortable gazebos with mangalas both by the lake and by the houses. Lake Drivyaty is generally a separate story, beautiful, clean and very large, the beach is amazing. There is a dining room where you can take breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we only took breakfast (the girls in the dining room are very friendly), as we made kebabs in the evening. There is also a main building with rooms for living on the territory. At the reception, the girls are so friendly that it seemed as if they had come to their relatives, smart guys!!! The only wish is to get Wi-Fi into the cabins. My husband and I were very delighted, the rest was a 200% success!!! We fell in love with Belarus. Thanks to the staff of the base for the wonderful and cozy atmosphere!!!!!!! Keep it up !!!

There is a place for tents on the territory of the campsite, 10 rubles per person, for the duration of Viva Braslav - 30, spent two days in a tent, there is a toilet, a hot shower, you can charge your phone. You can eat in a cafe but order in advance. There is a grocery store near the entrance.

A double room with air conditioning in the main building is normal, it's cool that it overlooks the pier. But one fat minus, in the morning the concierge barges in to you, making a couple of thuds for decency, even if your key is sticking in the lock, and if you are asleep, you do not hear anything as the door opens and everyone from the corridor sees you in bed in your underpants (well if)with a stunned face from surprise. Kapeeeets. Warn in advance at the reception about this, if you don't want to)))) It looks like local fun, they have it!)

We rested at the Braslav Lakes base, the location is cool, the nature is very beautiful, the base itself leaves much to be desired, the room was not fresh, not clean when checking in, crumbs on the sofa, hair, the floor was wiped "off", hair, litter, lumps of dust accumulated over centuries, not pleasant, the microwave is one on the floor doesn't even warm up, the prices for accommodation are up, under the conditions provided, I consider it an expensive pleasure....

There was a tour of historical sites with a stop and one overnight stay at the Braslav Lakes TALK. They have an economical option for such strays as us. These blue houses smell damp. The windows don't move at all. During the evening graying, the rotten floor broke through and my wife's leg fell through. At the same time, her elbow hit the table. I got bruises and bruises on my elbow and leg. There are three hematomas on the leg. She refused to investigate further.
Gentlemen who manage this wonderful place, my unobtrusive suggestion to you: appreciate every little thing, even your leaky houses, as this is also your advertisement, which sometimes pulls you not where you would like.
We were fed dinner and lunch. And in my opinion, it was decent, tasty and cozy. The shower is good. The place is beautiful. We were pleased with a family of swans and 2 families of ducks. A modern and beautiful pier.

Maybe there's something similar somewhere, but I haven't seen it. Except that it is somewhat reminiscent of the Silver Forest in Moscow in its best years. The campsite is super, I can't say about the housing and food, I was a guest here. The staff at the reception is very attentive even when talking on the phone. The surrounding area is indescribable, the air! A great beach, a small strip of sand, but a huge grassy lawn, there are mushrooms and benches. Large rental, boat trips on the lake. You come for the weekend, but you want to stay for a long time.

The recreation center is quite decent. The rooms are ordinary. Refrigerator, TV, wifi, shower, place to dry clothes, wardrobe, there is enough space for an overnight stay and rest. There is an insect screen on the windows. From entertainment catamarans, boats, bicycles, billiards, table tennis, sauna, rope town, fishing and a beautiful pair of swans, gazebos, barbecues. In the neighboring recreation center there is a wonderful boat for a short trip, it sails fast, the captain is pleasant and sociable, can tell a lot about this place, the water trip is accompanied by audio accompaniment. a store with a minimal set of products right at the exit of the gate.
There are waiters in the dining room who serve and clean the plates for you. The food is not very diverse, but it is enough for an adult.
A gorgeous beach, clean water, you can go very far and it won't be too deep.
A great place to relax with kids and friends.

I will give a bad rating solely because of the terrible bathhouse: the bath attendant throws firewood into the stove so that you simply cannot enter the steam room, the wooden floors are so hot that they burn even through towels. There is no question of throwing water on the rocks. we have not heard about the optimal temperature in the steam room. there is not even a bucket of cold water to pour over. for some reason, there is a giant cupboard in the recreation room, but there is no kettle to boil tea. a completely stupid bathhouse. you can't even go outside to the terrace, because the floorboards are rotten there, and you don't have time to change them.

The beach is about 10 minutes away, the base does not have its own. The beach is there, everywhere the depth is about a meter. Even at a 100-meter distance from the shore. You can rent a boat, drum roll, 4 days a week! That is, if you stopped by for 2-3 days, you may not even get such leisure! And I would not advise anyone to spend more than 2 days here.
The rooms are also double, at least in the main building.

If you want to remember the Soviet Union, come to the Braslav Lakes campsite. They feed the cheapest, the cheapest sausages, boiled sausage, cutlet "sovdep". The side dish was served - just boiled porridge, or rice, or barley, or pasta without gravy, without any sauces. And what was not finished in the evening was served in the form of a casserole with cheese in the morning. Only the trash can was cleaned in the room, and then the old garbage bag was left, neither the bathtub, nor the toilet, nor the sink was washed by anyone. There is a thick layer of dust under the bed, cobwebs and spiders all around. The water is hot only from 9 a.m.
