It's small, but so warm and cozy. And what trees. Cedar, sequoia, oak, plane trees. I really love such places. We were alone there, quiet and cozy. Well, the chapel inside a huge oak tree left a pleasant aftertaste.
Visiting the Botanical Garden in Kutaisi was a great experience, an immersion into the world of amazing diversity of vegetation. The park amazed me with its colorful and well-groomed alleys, where every step revealed new species and aromas of plants.
It's a wonderful place. The entrance is only 1 GEL (cash only), there is a fish pond, a bamboo grove, a chapel in an old oak tree and several other interesting places. The plants are signed everywhere with signs in Georgian, Russian and Latin. there are stands in Russian. Don't expect anything big like from the gardens of Batumi and Tbilisi. The garden is small, more like a beautiful park, you can walk slowly in 1-1.5 hours
