I do not recommend this place and, of course, I will not go a second time. Despite the fact that there have already been similar reviews, the institution does not correct the shortcomings in any way, it's just strange this attitude towards potential customers. Unwillingness to get loyal customers is, in principle, strange for a catering establishment. With a full landing, the staff can not cope, the service is very, very slow and not uniform. When serving a company of 3 people at 1 table, tea and soup and salad were already brought to one visitor, only tea to another, nothing to the third. As a result, in one company, one eats, two watch. The place is not old, but tea was given to one of the company in a ceramic mug with a chipped edge. The music is playing very, very, very loudly, so much so that the waiter does not hear what was ordered, and then says there was no such thing in the order of Borscht (ordered Russian) named after which the institution was named, it tastes terrible, just did not finish eating. It is sour, as if just a jar of tomato paste of poor quality was mixed with warm water, some vegetables chopped with noodles were thrown in and served. And the borscht was slightly warm, after adding sour cream it became just cold. The sign says dumplings, but there were no dumplings with the most banal filling, beef in the morning, as the waitress said. It probably makes sense not to make an overblown menu, but to limit yourself to what the institution has time to cook and serve. Instead of dumplings, I had to take a cutlet with buckwheat. Buckwheat is cooked worse, probably only in school canteens, overcooked, and almost burnt Tea is brought first for some reason, as a result, after all the dishes you drink the cooled tasteless tea. In a catering establishment, we would also like a more neat look from the waitress, as for clothes. In conclusion, about the toilet of the institution-it is not cleaned, it is clear that there are a lot of visitors, but a crowded trash basket and a wet dirty floor are not very pleasant when you need to wash your hands before eating.
Dumplings are not very good, jelly looks like a tasteless jelly with a bunch of gelatin, there is more vodka in tinctures than tinctures. The tea was just not bad. They have only recently opened and so far the service has also been lame
Borscht is not tasty (both Ukrainian and Russian), herring under a fur coat is not tasty, beer is stale. How can you even call a place "borscht" and serve such a shame
And tinctures are a shame too. Minimum taste, maximum bitterness

Once I ordered a sausage with mashed potatoes, and they brought it with noodles. Portions are small for these prices, yes. There is a separate group of side dishes on the menu, but there is no separate group of dishes to take them to. Tinctures are not a fountain, but, apparently, they do not have time to brew. And so you can go in for a meal. The main thing is not to expect much (as in everything)
It came to me, such a corner of St. Petersburg in Yerevan. The borscht is delicious, the herring under the fur coat is very good. Consider the rather youthful atmosphere.
I can't say anything about the food, there were no empty tables, nothing like that. We ordered tinctures of tinctures at the bar, it was terrible. I was still spitting half the day. Guys, something needs to change.

Delicious dishes, finally a normal meal in Yerevan. A little long service, but it's worth it. You need to book a table in advance.
