We took a shower with my wife in a campsite (very dirty and only the men's room worked, as well as the toilet) with the expectation that we will pay in the morning.In the morning we woke up to the fact that someone was breaking into the motorhome. He knocks on windows and doors with all his might. I look out the window and there's a grandfather standing there. I go out, he says that he is the owner of the campsite (later it turned out that he is a watchman).He said that we urgently need to move to the side of the road to his campsite, because you can't stand in this parking lot. And he demanded 40 GEL for the use of the campsite until the evening. OK, I paid and went to the Borjomi springs. I returned 2 hours later. Camping at the castle. The same grandfather comes up and says that he turned off the shower and if I want to use it, I have to pay another 40 GEL! I say that I paid for it 2 hours ago, he replies that it was for the night in the parking lot! I asked to turn on the water, because my wife wanted to wash her hair, he said that there was a spring behind the fence, let him go and wash there… Of course, I paid him nothing more. I moved to the same parking lot where I spent the night. There were already office staff there who didn't mind me standing there. Over the years of traveling to different countries, I have not met such a boorish attitude and such obvious deception. About the campsite itself: it has a fence only on the front side, the back and sides of the territory are open and there are many people walking to the stairs down to the park. Above, 2 km away, there is a parking lot on the territory of this campsite and it costs 3 GEL! The owner of this campsite, if you read my review: drive this grandfather with a broom, he will ruin your whole business. I am more than sure that my 40 lari settled in the pocket of this grandfather and did not reach the owner. Well, let the grandfather himself, or his wife, or daughter, wash their hair in an icy spring.

A great place for tourists with backpacks and lovers of nature and silence. The tents are near the stream, there is a forest around. You can walk down the beautiful walking trail to the center of Borjomi in 10-15 minutes. You can walk back, you can take a cable car or a taxi (both are 5 GEL). The entrance is an asphalt road. Camping provides everything you need: tents, sleeping bags, mats, etc. But most importantly, there is a clean shower and toilet! There is equipment for cooking on a campfire and a table with benches under the roof for a large company. The communal bonfire is very comfortably furnished with soft armchair cushions. Friendly and hospitable staff. An ideal place to relax with both family and friendly company. We really enjoyed our vacation at the Borjomi Campsite. We will definitely come again!
