An interesting and delicious historical place. Every time I visit Budapest, I visit the market to buy Hungarian goodies (goose pate, spicy sausages, sweet paprika and chili, and much, much more). And then, on the second floor, you need to try hot homemade Magyar dishes and wash it all down with wonderful local wine. I do not just recommend, but insist on visiting!!!!
The market is very huge. There are a lot of raw and smoked meat products. Shops with souvenirs, etc. goods with national clothes. Fruits and vegetables can all be bought, the prices are reasonable.
A tourist place with prices higher than in stores, but the atmosphere itself, the opportunity to try and bargain, have a snack on the second tier delivers some "charm". It is a must to visit!
