I was in the hospital 2 years ago with covid. First, they were put in a large, completely free room. I put my things out and, suddenly, they came and said that there were no places for men, we had to vacate this ward and sent me to another one. Then, as it turned out, opposite the toll booth. The ward is very small, with high beds, despite the fact that I have hip joints and I said so. There was a strong cough with expectoration, I had to get up often and run to the sink, which was painful.
The beds were side by side, at a distance of 20 cm. Moreover, there was a very serious patient nearby, who did all this on the bed and doctors and nurses constantly came.
After lying down for a while, I began to beg to be put in a paid ward, because it was very difficult not only physically, but also mentally to lie in it. I am an elderly man, I was 67 years old at the time. They promised that I would be released in a day and I would be transferred. That's what happened, otherwise I don't know how I would have stood it. They were fed terribly, cooked like pigs, and put on a plate in the same way, carelessly. When I moved to the paid ward, I was very glad that I was alone. Like, the repairs seemed to be fine. But I was happy early. I ate mostly the same, only they applied it more culturally. There was a microwave, kettle and refrigerator. But the TV was working very loudly, it was impossible to make it quieter, something was faulty, no one came and did anything knowing about it. Little tadpole-like creatures came out of the shower, there were a lot of them and they even reached the room. I didn't see it right away, made a video and even sent it to a friend. Unfortunately, neither she nor I have saved these videos.
So after 5 days, I begged to be allowed to go home. I feel better.
I am very grateful to the doctors of this hospital. They are experts in their field.
That is why I did not immediately write and complain about everyday problems in the hospital. Although I constantly think about it, how can such a thing happen in an infectious diseases hospital in a regional city.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the medical staff of the hospital for their high professionalism, sensitivity and attention to patients. I would like to express my special gratitude to Tejik Arseniy Vladimirovich. Thank you for your dedication, professionalism and humanity. You have proved that medicine is not only a science, but also an art that requires a deep understanding of a person and his body.
