A very beautiful, well-maintained monastery garden, an interesting old building with a freestanding bell tower, and generally a benevolent, very pleasant place, but most importantly a view of the Alazani valley.Saint Nino's spring is also here.

Nicely. Gorgeous views. It was raining, so they didn't swim in the spring. Another time, definitely, if the weather doesn't let you down. I do not recommend parking your car in the parking lot - you will spend a lot of time waiting. It's faster to walk 200 meters

There are a huge number of tourists, or perhaps it is more correct to say pilgrims, there is a paid parking, they told to go down 800 steps to the source, they did not go because the mudslide came down, it was impossible to reach this day.

On our first visit many years ago, we managed to attend a service during which Georgian crosses were consecrated to us (they differ slightly in shape) . Thanks to her, they learned the whole story, all the significant moments of Orthodoxy in general, and Nino herself, and this place.

The views are very beautiful, the monastery itself is very beautiful, the history is interesting. We met the guide at the entrance and got a wonderful tour. I advise you to visit the old small temple next to the bell tower first. The overhead light in the temple is turned on once an hour and you can see the ancient wooden altar and frescoes, preserved in excellent condition. After that, go to the new temple of Nino, majestic, very bright and warm. And after that, take a walk to the observation deck, the view from there is amazing
