I spent 5 days here.
I liked the hotel, but there are some moments that spoiled the rest.
Cons:
- the hotel does not have its own beach, but it overlooks it directly; it would be nice if the staff cleaned this piece from time to time, it is small, but some garbage is constantly being taken out on it - unpleasant;
- the rooms are sooo noisy, I changed two, and everywhere you can hear noise and vibrations from hoods/some nearby equipment;
- I poisoned myself with Caesar salad in the hotel restaurant (at the same time, all the other times I had lunch and dinner there and everything was fine).
Positive:
- I had a room with a kind of terrace near the pool, large, clean and pleasant, drinking water was supplied in sufficient quantity every day;
- a room with a terrace is well suited in the low season, when there may be short-term rains - quickly ran away from the pool in a downpour and disappeared on his terrace under the roof;
- excellent location, everything is nearby, and shops, and restaurants, and massage (the best one is across the street);
- the place is quite calm, mostly older Europeans, I saw my compatriots at the hotel only once, however, that time they had a party in a restaurant with some presenter, and it was just loud and fufufu unpleasant for the rest of the guests;
- delicious food in the restaurant, but - see above. Do not take salads in Thailand. Everything else that I took (both Thai and European, and breakfasts) was very tasty. Ice cream is also top.
But in general it is very expensive for Thailand. I vacationed in the Maldives for less money in a wonderful all-inclusive hotel, and the comparison is not in favor of the Boathouse.
I really liked the hotel, we lived in a room with a pool terrace, it was clean,cleaning twice a day, the room service was at a good level, the restaurant with chef Jonathan was a delight!!!!
A great little hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are in style, well cleaned. The breakfasts are excellent on the menu. The beach is 3 steps away. I'll come again.
