A well-worn guest. Very tired. Everything is worn and shabby. The main advantage is the location. Very friendly cleaning lady in the rooms. Polite, conscientious. A very friendly worker in the kitchen, all with a smile and with care. Lovely women. The breakfast is excellent. There is a large selection of dishes. I'm not a demanding tourist. I was satisfied with everything. But I can't put five down.
The hotel has one undoubted advantage - the location. Not far from Hagia Sophia, on a narrow street, along which two cars will hardly separate. The view from our window to the Marmara Sea. That's just for the view and I give 3 stars. Everything else is bad. The building is old. The rooms are cramped, the furniture is battered, the plumbing is too. The wifi is bad. Breakfast is monotonous, but 2-3 days can be sustained. There's not a soul on the street in the evening, it's unpleasant. The bedding for the sofa was brought after three requests. The room is divided into two halves by a partition - in one of them the air conditioner did not work.
My sister and I were in Istanbul from November 4th to 11th.We lived in this hotel. It is located in the historical center.
The living conditions were good. The rooms are clean, towels were changed every day. The room had a safe, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer, slippers, gels.
The staff and administrators were polite, they spoke to us in Russian.
The food was also quite satisfied.
The most important thing is that everything we came to visit is within walking distance:ancient monuments, the Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara and just the city.
The only thing that everyone needs to keep in mind is to walk a lot on stone pavements (this is not asphalt), you need comfortable shoes😀
On the top floor there are good views of the Bosphorus and the courtyards of old Istanbul. Cats and dogs are seen and heard at night. The room is small, but sufficient for a 5-day stay in the city, provided that you do not sit in the room all day. One very big advantage is that all the sights are nearby, you can walk. Breakfast is moderate - you won't get fat. Be careful with the transfer to and from the airport - they ask for more than agreed.
Very pleasant prices for accommodation. The price/quality ratio is optimal! Special thanks to the friendly professional Russian-speaking Shafkat at the reception
