Love it, favorite place,be careful of the prices and silver jewelry,it might not be I feel so,the chess boards are very good and musical instruments are high quality,the Armenian authentic dresses and few things are a rip off to people from outside maybe,the paintings are some original and some also prefabricated in few places.The carpets and Armenian laces are the most best thing to get.

Now I want to return to Armenia and Yerevan primarily because of this wonderful market! Everything is locally made and made by local craftsmen, you will not find Chinese here. There are many unique and original things. The prices are ridiculous, you can and should bargain. A huge selection of stones, silver, jewelry, carpets, wooden objects, scarves, etc. The opening day is open every day, but the biggest days are Saturday and Sunday.

If you don't judge by expectations, then you liked the market. I love handmade things or small productions, so to speak, individuality :) And I would love to buy most of it in this market :) See the photo, there you can find jewelry and clay products, shawls, chess, Turks, etc. Moreover, some sellers work even late in the evening. We happened to be there for about 22 hours, and the seller had customers! Sellers do not advertise, they behave pleasantly. They don't take offense (at least they don't express it) if they ask a lot of questions and don't buy.
