A cozy place and a cultural attraction in the city center. An island of tranquility in this raging ocean of human bustle outside))) It's nice to sit on a bench and read when you want peace and quiet. Clean and tidy.
It functions as a museum and as a functioning mosque. They sell beautiful souvenirs.
The local ministers are mostly Iranians, so the language of communication is mostly English, if you need to clarify something.
The place of prayer itself is open to parishioners during the entire working hours of the mosque. The hall is quiet and peaceful. There are abayas at the entrance for women.
I often come to submit a petition for prayer for Tatar relatives. I was lucky once -there was an imam. I, a Christian, was even invited to be present at prayer. Everything is very friendly.
It's free, as far as I know. But if desired, you can submit a sadaqa (donation) along with the note or drop it in the mailbox.
I recommend the place.
It is a very interesting place , as if you are in a small separate city . Very beautiful. And there is also a store with amazing handmade things made by students from Iran. Bags , purses , vases , belts and much more . I'm sure you won 't be able to leave without shopping .
The quietest place in the center of Yerevan. It is a very calm and beautiful place where even non-religious people will be pleased to sit. There are a lot of cats and plants, I recommend you to take a look, because there are few places in Yerevan where you can relax from the hustle and bustle of the city.
A cozy, quiet, very beautiful place. It's nice to come in when you get tired of the noise, hustle and dust of the center of Yerevan. In early spring, when the trees begin to bloom, it is especially cool here.
I want to tell you about a place that has always been in my mind — the Blue Mosque in Yerevan -
how many times I passed by it, but never went inside. but Armenia and Iran have always been closely linked, not only by a common border.
This mosque, built in the early 19th century, symbolizes not only the architectural heritage, but also the mutual respect between the two cultures for many centuries. ✨
I would also like to note from history that Iran provided asylum to Armenians fleeing persecution and violence during the genocide. Armenian refugees who found shelter in Iran received the necessary assistance and protection.
any tourist can come here, and there are even robes for girls to visit the mosque itself. the atmosphere here is very friendly: many people came up, asked if they needed help, and tried their best to make my visit comfortable.
I am very impressed with the visit. An ancient Shiite mosque has taken refuge in the historical center of Yerevan. The silence inside the mosque is soothing to any believer. Despite the unity of the style, different parts and structures of the mosque reveal different eras and a difficult fate.
The entrance to the Blue Mosque is inconspicuous from Mashtots Avenue. Inside there is a cozy courtyard, a mini park. You can sit in the library, go to the WC. During our visit, there was an exhibition and sale of Iranian masters of hand-made crafts.
The Persian trail in Yerevan. A very beautiful mosque, renovated. The courtyard is away from the hustle and bustle, you can sit quietly. There are a lot of cats, everyone feeds them)
Good time of day.
The mosque is very intricately woven into the city. The mosaic is exquisite. Admission is free, you can sit in the park. Cats create a homely atmosphere.
Within walking distance from the center of Yerevan.
An iconic place for Muslims.
It is beautiful and cozy. The Armenian grandmother is a tour guide and translator, she talks very interestingly, knows and teaches Farsi and English...
A beautiful place, I recommend you to visit. Everything is open and everything is friendly. Cats run around on the territory, locals come and feed them, even some arrange cat therapy)
A beautiful place to relax. There is a shop with interesting souvenirs. We stopped by to sit and relax on the way home. A beautiful mosque with interesting patterns on the dome.
Being on the territory of the mosque feels good and calm. This is the best place in front of the almighty. A quiet, heavenly corner in the city center.

A unique, interesting, historical and simply beautiful place. The muezzin does not sing on the minaret, but services are held. A very beautiful courtyard, hidden among residential buildings. Take a look here and get your cameras ready!
I was impressed. how do you get into another change when you enter the mosque territory from a busy avenue. not a new model, it was not destroyed during the war (ammunition depot). the coolness, silence and tranquility of visiting this place
A beautiful mosque. Walking down the street, you can pass by if you don't know. An architecturally interesting object, you can go inside. To the left and right of the mosque, students from all over the world sell goods. It's funny, but the prices are quite high.
A unique monument of Iranian and Armenian art, a symbiosis of two cultures

A beautiful though small mosque. An interesting souvenir shop. That's why one of the sellers suddenly turned out to be completely illiterate, stuffed with Azerbaijani propaganda. He stated that before the Soviets, Yerevan was an ordinary village and generally belonged to the Persians. I only spoiled the impression.
So come, sit on a bench in silence, admire the roses in spring and early summer, buy a souvenir and not talk to the sellers.)

Apr 2024:
I liked the exhibition of Persian crafts (tableware, carpets) and the fair of young Iranian craftsmen.
I was impressed by the exhibition of photographs dedicated to the restoration of the mosque. A lot of work has been done!
I liked the images on the dome of the minaret, but did not understand their theme.

It is very beautiful, colorful, green, well-groomed territory, there are museum expositions. But the whole complex of buildings needs restoration! And there is a feeling that it is urgently needed.
Unfortunately, we didn't see much, we didn't have much time, but we did see some things and really liked them. I recommend it to all guests of the city
Roses bloom in a small area and there is a good view of the entrance to the mosque. Beautiful shots are obtained against the background, judging by the tag on the banned network. The only drawback is that the entrance to the territory from the street is inconspicuous.
