We lived with my husband in this hotel from June 18 to June 26, 2024. A beautiful and inexpensive hotel, friendly staff, there is a Russian-speaking young man. The rooms are clean, cleaning every day. There is air conditioning and a private toilet and shower. We had breakfast included, the breakfast is the same every day, but it is quite satisfying. Grocery stores are nearby, a currency exchange office is located opposite the entrance, Istiklal street is a 15-minute walk up the hill)) But what a charge! There are also public transport stops nearby. The area is good, we returned late at night and we had no problems, there are always a lot of people around.
Our trip was from April 14th to 28th, 2024. There are no cards issued abroad and I had to book with payment on the spot. The hotel confirmed the reservation (about 2-3 weeks in advance). We arrived at 21 o'clock. The area turned out to be one of those that are described in Zen as dangerous - tarlabashi, but we got there normally, down the hills. The most interesting thing was when we were walking - there were no seats, the guy at the reception was scared at first, then fussed and said he would arrange with the neighboring hotel, and took us to meridian. As a result, instead of a housekeeper with breakfast for 43 euros per day, we were given a two-room standard in the neighboring one, without breakfast, for 55 for a day and then an economy from 15.04. We did not take 14 days and moved 2 days later, since the economy did not appear, they said busy. They asked to cancel the order so that they would not pay a fine of 45 euros. I canceled it only because I agreed with the neighbors and we paid a little less than their price, although I did not quit. It's unpleasant, but in such an area at night, such a situation is generally frightening. We regretted that we did not book through other applications with our cards, but in the end the trip went even better.
Cheap and cozy. There is a visa application center nearby. A five-minute walk away is a large shopping street with many shops and cafes. One of the hotel managers speaks Russian well and can always help.
