The impressions are rather positive, the hotel is good, helpful staff and convenient location. Very nice view of the sea from the window, I definitely want to return.
In more detail, from the good:
+ The close location to the sea, you can relax on the sunbed in the hotel and go swimming in the sea nearby. Given the very high activity of the sun, a close path to the sea is important. There are paid sun beds on the beach, which and how to pay is not entirely clear.
+ Responsive staff, understand English well and speak well, solve problems quickly.
+ Room cleaning every day. Good room facilities: bathrobe, slippers for the room and slippers for the beach, beach towels
+Delicious coffee for breakfast, but the breakfast itself is monotonous and meager. During the week, only some fruits and waffles/pancakes were changed, the rest is standard every day, there is no choice.
+ Very quiet and peaceful, the hotel is 18+, there are no children and few ill-mannered people
Of the cons:
- Lizards crawl into the rooms (3rd floor) and mosquitoes fly in.
- The restaurant in the hotel is not tasty and very expensive, no luck, I had to leave the hotel for lunch and dinner.

We had a rest in the middle of October 2024. Excellent hotel, perfect location, view from the balcony to the gorgeous embankment, the room itself is clean, spacious, we had a double-large bed, TV, where three Russian channels worked))) toilet with shower-soap, shampoos and body lotion are all included. We cleaned every day, changed towels and bed linen. Breakfasts are for every taste. From porridge to hot dishes, fruits, yoghurts, croissants, scrambled eggs in any form are made in front of your eyes, etc. There is a swimming pool on site along with a bar. Helpful and smiling staff. The hotel is not cheap, so everything is top notch!!! Near the hotel there are many cafes, pharmacies, massage, currency exchange, within walking distance of 7/11.)))) There were no mosquitoes in October. It was the best vacation ever)))) I don't understand the negative reviews... there is a type of person who is always dissatisfied with something.…

- location : out to sea, out to shops, cafe massage. Kata Beach is a 10-minute walk away.
- good breakfasts
- all rooms have sea views and balconies
- the room has a good safe, tea set, hairdryer, cool mattresses and bed linen

Total: the hotel is not new, but it is neat, they try their best. They took it solely for the sake of the first Coastal one - he went out to sea.

Nice hotel 4*
They clean up every day, you can make yourself a good omelet for breakfast, eat fruit and bring coffee.,
But almost all the staff is older, and they react a little slower than you would like to get it.
Overall a great hotel
The beach is wow super

The sun beds that are "rented" there for a day are so-so, but there are not many options.
There are a lot of Russians, almost like in Sochi. If you want silence, definitely not here.

I would like to note right away that the price per night in this hotel is above average. It is clear that you pay mainly for proximity to the sea, but the hotel has 4 stars and a normal price tag, so you also want to see good service in it, but more on that below.
Positive:
1. Location and sea view.
2. Glass wall in the bathroom, you can wash with a sea view :))
Cons:
1. The hotel is located on the edge of the bay, which is why not all rooms have a full sea view. There are two categories on the site: regular sea view and premier sea view, their difference on the site is described clearly and clearly: the first is just a view of the sea, but from the second you can see the entire length of the wonderful Karon beach. We had a premier, but of course they settled us in a regular one and of course as if it should be so) First, at the reception, when asked to change the room, they said that there were no rooms available today, you can move tomorrow. This option did not suit us, because the category of our room was more expensive. Then they tried to explain to us that the premier sea view is just the 3rd floor, and the usual sea view on the 2nd floor, in short, anything to deceive tourists. After saying that the lack of a suitable room is their problem, that we paid the cost of another category, etc., we were still given a room with a good view.
2. The room itself is really tired, there was no repair in 2024… Paint is flying off the toilet, the corner of the table looks like someone chewed off from hunger, peeling whitewash on the ceiling of the balcony and the room... in general, it's sad. The balcony, by the way, is very small and paint is also spilling on it.
3. Breakfast. Meager, of course you will not leave hungry - you will eat bread and butter and an omelette. As a "compliment" on the first day, there was a cockroach in the omelet. One of the advantages of breakfast is a lot of fruits.
4. Service. Since we have something to compare, we can safely say that the service here is bad, the staff practically does not speak English, does not try to convey information in any other way (translator to help), only gloomily and unkindly repeats the same incomprehensible phrase. They are unfriendly, which is generally not typical for Thais…
5. The restaurant at the hotel. Expensive and generally tasteless. I just don't recommend it.
6. Two pools with cold water, which are present just for a beautiful view, you will not swim in them.

A cool hotel, on the first line, from the room on the ground floor you go directly to the beach. It's a thrill - you sunbathe at your room on a sunbed, all the amenities are nearby, and you walked 100 m - and on the beautiful Karon beach. And if there are waves, then I left the hotel to the right, and after 10 minutes on Kata beach, which is in the bay and there are no waves. Good breakfasts with fruits - in April there were watermelons and pineapples every day, on other days bananas, papaya, pitahaya. Our room on the ground floor was opposite the pool bar, and I was worried that it would be noisy, but it wasn't, the bar closed around 10 p.m., and there weren't many people there in the afternoon, the bar didn't bother at all. There was more noise from cicadas) The supermarket is 1 minute from the entrance to the hotel, Kata Night market is 10 minutes on foot. Very convenient location. Yes, and the sunsets are amazing!!

It's strange why they don't publish negative reviews, there are cockroaches in the rooms, rats are running around the hotel, it's clear there's a footcourt nearby, maybe that's the reason, well, it's not normal to have such unsanitary conditions at 21, I had to sleep with the light on in the rooms, because when you turn off the light, there are a lot of cockroaches, and it's on the 4th floor, I imagine what's going on below.

We were at Karon beach - Karon beach from July 31 to August 7, 2023. Beyond Resort Karon Hotel. The hotel has a very beautiful view of the ocean!👌🤩 The first line. The beach is public, but there are few people, they do not clean it very much, there are bottles and other garbage, plus natural garbage, they are rarely cleaned. A little further away from the hotel there are sun beds with an umbrella, 100 baht for a sunbed and an umbrella for a day, about 280 rubles. The hotel does not pull in 4 stars, there is no gloss and well-groomed, as in Turkey, for example. 3 stars can be given. The service is lame. But Thais are very friendly, smiling, and understand English well. The breakfasts are hearty, but monotonous, the menu is the same every day. There is oatmeal porridge, though for some reason it is cold. There is a very romantic restaurant near the hotel, on the rock, with a price tag of about 1,500 baht for two. Tequila 250 baht per shot. There are pancakes near the hotel, with mango, banana, nutella, about 80 baht. If you overslept breakfast, it is very convenient. It is better not to take anything from the food on the beach. Guides warn about rotovirus, it even reaches the police. On August 3, oil spilled from a tanker and all this fuel oil washed ashore.... The beach has become dirty. There was no warning from the hotel.. They put only kerosene at the entrance to the hotel from the beach to wipe their feet, hands, etc. Soiled shoes, scrubbed for a long time:(, they wrote a review, the next day a girl came and took the sneakers, washed them well!
440 baht for a cocktail on the beach, 1,150 rubles, alcohol is low, they save money, add juice and ice, do not take it!
There is a shopping street on Katya, there is seafood for 100 baht for a large plate, you can eat together. There is also cannabis with different flavors: for happiness, for relaxation, etc., 100 baht per cigarette. 150 baht good rum for 250 ml sang som and a jar of schweppes. There is plenty of alcohol in the store, but the price tag is one and a half times higher than in Moscow.
According to the weather: the rain passes quickly and again the steam room and the sun. We burned down on the first day 3 hours before 3 p.m., while waiting for room cleaning, we thought it was cloudy, there was a haze of clouds.
The most favorable time when there is no stuffiness is December, January and February. Bad weather is said in September.
You need to take about $ 1,000 extra for a week, without buying things, but only food and entertainment. Expensive!
We took an excursion to the islands: Phi Phi and James Bond Island. 4,400 baht, our money is about 10 thousand rubles. Leo is a very cool guide, energetic, and tells an interesting story. They left early in the morning and returned in the evening. I liked it! Nature is impressive!
It's a pity that sometimes they clog it with oil.
We went to the Festival shopping center, the store as a store, the choice is not very ... we did not go into expensive brands, we did not have time before closing.
Patong: Bangla Street is lively, crowded, all kinds of adult entertainment. You can go to a strip bar for free and get a cocktail there and watch what is happening. Drink it all evening :) No one will say anything. We were at Suzy, we liked it. They left 750 baht for 3 shots of tequila and about 250 for wine. We saw a lot of things :) there is no such thing in Moscow ... admission to the disco is also free! But you can already get a cocktail there. We went to karaoke, white rooms, a lot of Russians, the first song is free, then 100 baht per song.
I liked the Tanya massage salon on Katya! A masseuse named Oh did facials on Thai cosmetics (not bad! It smells very good and the texture is good). While I was lying with the masks, they massaged my whole body. Great!
Surfing on the beach costs 250 baht - 1 hour. There are no water skis, there is a big wave. There is no table tennis and bicycles-we love it. There are parachutes, they haven't been priced.
What I want to say in general: the nature and the ocean are impressive. But it is expensive and there is no gloss, as in Turkey for this money!

A hotel with an insanely beautiful view and rabid mosquitoes.
The proximity to the sea at this hotel is the best on Karon beach. The views from the balconies are simply wonderful. The room is cleaned daily.
Of the cons:
- we were eaten by mosquitoes. We bought all the tools we could, but they didn't handle them well either. 15 mosquitoes were killed per night and this is "normal". The staff of the hotel processed the room according to our request, but there was no benefit from it.
- if you travel longer than 10 days, you will get tired of breakfast at the hotel. The quality of the products is good, but there is no variety. We stayed at the hotel for a month, so after a little over a week we started eating at the hotel opposite.
- I pushed the suitcase away twice so that the cleaners could go through a rag under the desk. However, they washed only within the aisles and ignored the prompts.
You can post a lot for a beautiful view, but not sleepless nights in the battle with mosquitoes 🥴
