Nice hotel, minimalist style, pleasant staff and delicious breakfasts. I was glad that the guys had a 24-hour reception - I came and went late at night. I liked everything, the hotel is very well located - a couple of minutes from Vakhtang Gorgosale Square, where sightseeing buses leave, and you can also walk to the Mira Bridge and Rustavelli Street in 15 minutes.
I really liked the breakfasts and the kindness of the people, the responsiveness - one day the water was turned off in the area and the guys took care of the water and even offered to use a room in a nearby hotel for free, which had water.
Other reviews write about the lack of drinking water in the room and problems with the kettle, well, I consider this a personal issue - the price-quality ratio is generally great, this is not a 5-star hotel to require extra service, everything was basic)) about audibility, I had a room on the second floor, angled to the road, and I didn't feel any excessive noise, everything was fine)
I'll try to be objective. The hotel is really well located, albeit on a hill, but with excellent views of the city and within walking distance to the main attractions of the city. The breakfasts are excellent, special thanks to the female half of the employees of this hotel, they somehow brightened up our stay in this place, they tried very hard. The interior is not bad. Cleaning every day. Relatively recent renovation. That's where the advantages ended.
And now about the disadvantages that spoiled our mood and the overall impression of the holiday. You can forget about the service here, as well as in Georgia in general. Such basic things as a couple of bottles of water in the room are missing even upon arrival. And zeazd was at 4 a.m. So the water probably had to be transported from the airport. Kettles in the room simply cannot be used. You will drink tea and water from it with the taste of boiled plastic. Rooms on the ground floor with separate beds are not suitable for living. Firstly, it is very damp and cold there. They're on the ground. The building is wooden - audibility and blowing is as if you are on the street. And you will freeze around the clock and listen to the generator of the neighboring hotel. Separately, I would like to note the extreme unprofessionalism of the hotel manager. Who flatly refused to put us on the 3rd floor, poured out a tub of dirt and demanded full payment in the usual tones and offered to call the police. I have never seen such rudeness in any hotel in the world! It's just amazing. But this is also obvious from the attitude towards the staff, the hotel does not really have a reception. The guys are also freezing in their two-meter dungeon. But this is the face of the hotel. As a result, a Georgian friend suggested to them that they could put a cot in a room with one bed, we were relocated with a big scandal. Anyway, we're not going there anymore. The prices are obviously very high for everything! I do NOT recommend going to a hotel or to a country in which they will try to deceive you and get money at every step! Well, if you do decide, in any case, do not book more than one day. This should be done upon arrival, carefully choosing and checking everything and everyone. As we learned later, our situation here is the norm. By the way, booking has not contacted us. We tried to resolve the dispute through them. It's useless!
A wonderful hotel. Everything is fresh for breakfast and even the porridge they like was prepared for the children. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We had a good time with you!
The view from the 3rd floor room is simply amazing🫶
