A small cafe of Israeli cuisine in the Osmolovka area.
The design is quite simple and modern. Visitors with dogs are welcome here.
It is quite crowded on weekends, so it is better to book a table in advance.
The menu features the main dishes of Israeli cuisine, especially I would like to mention a wide range of hummus.
Extraordinary homemade lemonades, pomegranate wine and coffee with cardamom, allow you to fully immerse yourself in the Israeli surroundings.
The portions are quite large, the staff drowns out the sharpness of the dish.
On the downside, I personally lacked musical accompaniment (it was too quiet) and the wind blew very strongly from the window.
The most delicious place! It is absolutely necessary to go here for authentic cuisine. Delicious, neat, cozy. I want to come back several times to try the whole menu. There are no disadvantages. The waiter warned about the presence of hot sauce in the shawarma on the plate (it was lying on the edge of the plate, not in the main dish), which is also important for those who cannot have spicy. I have already returned home to Moscow, but I still remember the delicious food. I will definitely come to Minsk next time!
The building is located in the atmospheric Osmolovka district, on a street of two-storey houses, each of which has some kind of institution. The establishment itself has a pleasant Jewish entourage. The menu is varied and, at the present time, it can be said to be budget-friendly. We took a set of snacks and I can immediately say that muammara is just a top, but matbukha, meze and tabouleh are also delicious. They washed it all down with lemonade, the consistency resembles a good homemade limoncello, but without alcohol. In short, one of the best establishments in the city with exotic cuisine, I recommend you to visit.
A tiny cafe with Israeli street food 2 steps from the Alivaria factory. Tasty, fast, inexpensive- surprisingly, but all 3 components coincided here. We got to a business lunch and had a great meal. You can see that there are a lot of regulars in the cafe, and this is a sure sign that the place is good.
Walking around Osmolovka can take you to Bethengaf. Of the other ways, except for the recommendations of not indifferent tribesmen. The interior is unusual, as is the staff. From a good point of view, even if the waitress / receptionist / goddess of this place didn't like you and looked at you with contempt, the food will still be brought, even without prepayment. Street food has been announced. Street food has been brought. Everything is edible except the spicy pasta. It was impossible to eat everything that was next to her, but we ate it - we'll regret it tomorrow. We ordered A Sweet Bubaleh. According to the goddess, this is a reference to the film. To the question "why is this color (in the photo), and not yellow?" In response, they heard: "The original green and ..." I couldn't remember the rest of the words, I got stuck a little.
After payment, the goddess softened a little, or maybe because we were the last visitors and we can finally close the damn door and ...
There are errors in the text referring to the walls of the institution, on which the inscriptions in "native" are also erroneous (according to all, too, the goddess). If you are looking for such an experience, then you can try it. But, be careful! Osmolovka does not forgive mistakes.
A magnificent Israeli cafe, everything is very tasty and authentic. Separately, I will note the hot sauce - it is really spicy and similar to shug. Hummus and thin are definitely true. From the descriptions, probably the taste of pickles is a little bit not "typical Israeli", no, they are good and tasty, but still slightly different from the typical "hamutsim" in Israel. But Lemonana is just a standard here, in Israel you will not find such a rich and delicious lemonana in every cafe) And all this is in the center of Minsk. You won't regret coming in.
According to the maintenance, everything is top, they were ready quickly, the girls are friendly.
Even in the warmer months, the veranda is just flying away.
Very authentic atmosphere, cozy place.
Convenient location!
And most importantly, the friendly staff; and very (!) delicious Cuisine! The portions are large, the prices are affordable. We barely finished 4 dishes for two.
Suitable for both vegetarians and meat eaters, there are dishes with and without a spice (sauces), in general, everything is as it is customary in the East! Breaded Chicken Schnitzel and Sea Buckthorn tea are simply Divine!!
It is a very calm and atmospheric place. You won't come here to sit for two hours, rather to eat and run away about your business) the food is very tasty, the hummus with pepper is amazing. I tried falafel - it's perfectly fried, with sauce, vegetables and flatbread - it's the most if you want to eat, but not suffocate) fast and polite service, dishes for two were taken out literally in 10 minutes. We will definitely come again)
I've tried Israeli cuisine for the first time, so I don't know how to evaluate the dishes. I ordered a set of snacks and bubuleh. But it was delicious. The serving is beautiful, it was not cooked fast or slow. But the hot stuff was served hot. The interior is unusual. The bathroom is clean and modern.
An institution with a soul! That's what I'd say. It's simple, but delicious! The atmosphere is warm and kind. I liked everything I tried. The kitchen is simple, but always with a soul! Thank you guys for your hospitality
Cons: small room, expensive, amateur food in terms of specific ingredients, herbs and spices
Pros: in general, it is delicious, cozy, there are Parking places nearby
A real bistro! The feed is very fast. We took a set of meze. Real hummus, it's clear that the chef is passionate about Jewish cuisine. Everything really fits the concept. I really liked it. I recommend it! (There is no sign. They found it by accidentally turning their head and seeing the inscription on the door)
I love Bethengave, but today's hike was disappointing.
1. There was a lot (a lot!) in chicken meat. bones and cartilage, both in my dish and in my partner's dish.
2. because of the open doors, mosquitoes, midges, and moths were flying inside the establishment - they constantly had to be waved away, which distracted from food. if we were ready for "nature near the face", we would choose a table on the terrace.
3. Sticky table... it was unpleasant to touch
4. not all glasses are LIKE THIS in the institution, but they brought us one that has a rather narrow bottom, relative to the main volume. I understand that this is partly our fault, too, but the glass turned over :(
we cleaned up after ourselves, but the workers did not notice at the moment, respectively, they did not help.
It was nice that the food was brought VERY quickly
It wasn't the first time I came, every time the kitchen, the atmosphere, and the staff left only the best impressions. unfortunately, during the last visit, falafel and hummus with chicken were ordered, there are no questions about falafel, but the chicken did not taste very pleasant, as if it were bitter — it could not finish. as a result, food poisoning, I assume the chicken meat was not very fresh 😔
I was not a petitioner, I was an electrician. It is difficult to see such a clean kitchen anywhere. Therefore, there is no need to worry about the cleanliness of the dishes and the quality of the prepared products.
I used to work in one large network, it's rare for there to be cleanliness. It depends a lot on the chef and the shift supervisor.
It is a very comfortable place to chat and drink a good coffee. But like almost everywhere with very inattentive waiters. They run around and you don't pay any attention that you turn your gaze to them. It seems neither they themselves nor anyone else teaches them attention to the visitor and when they will understand it is also unknown
The staff is the face of the institution. In this case, it is a dissatisfied, insipid, indifferent, arrogant face🗿It seems that the girls have their own more important consultation on discussing their everyday issues than the concerns that arise with respect to the guests of this institution) the kitchen is mediocre, everything looks delicious., but for some reason it doesn't taste like it was cooked without a soul (I tried Israeli cuisine more than once and in general I have an idea how it can be delicious) 🙂 In general, it does not cause a repeated desire to return, in particular, even more because of the staff. But the cooking time was pleasant, I did not have to wait long. You can go once.
The cozy terrace, nice interior, service and kitchen leave much to be desired. The food is bland, not tasty, and the customer orientation is zero. Unfortunately, the most delicious Israeli cuisine in my life and coffee(
I found myself in this place by chance - I was walking past to another cafe, but it turned out to be closed. And I saw the Betengave. I really liked it here: delicious food, very pleasant service, good wi-fi (I managed to work productively for an hour). I'll come here again.
It's a great place. The dishes are served quickly, everything that has been tried is very tasty.
The staff is friendly, they will prompt and take into account your wishes. Well done, we will look in more often, as there are still interesting positions that are interesting to try.
The waiter girl, at the moment when I went to the bathroom, took the dish without my knowledge and threw it away. When asked why this happened, she said that her friend was to blame, who did not ask to leave the dish (how should she even know what to do with someone else's dish). They gave a discount disproportionate to the damage.
As for the dish itself, the falafel in the flatbread was bitter, it was all on top, respectively, you first eat bread with falafem, and then bread with salad. In general, it's definitely not a seven-dollar dish.
The impressions were not very good from the institution
I've been to this cafe several times, everything is super: the dishes, the atmosphere, the incredible taste, BUT the staff is just disgusting. Every time I enter the restaurant, I get an irritated look in my direction, after the menu is given out, complete disregard begins. When the eternally dissatisfied and tired waiter comes to take the order, all the grief and sadness is reflected in his eyes and on his face. For any clarifying question, you get a strange look and a tone as if the waiter is being held hostage there and forced to work 24/7.
To sum up, the kitchen is just super, it makes you come back no matter what! But the staff is so disgusting that sometimes there is a wild desire not to leave a tip, it really spoils the whole incredible atmosphere of the cafe.
If you are in Minsk for a short time, you definitely should not waste time, absolutely nothing special, a typical cafe with a national bias, the food is not tasty, and the assortment is poor. For example, there is absolutely no assorted meze, in general, there is no point in going specifically.
A very decent institution. They cook very tasty. The cuisine is very authentic. Schnitzel in the pit is the most satisfying lunch of all possible, a kind of shawarma with a national flavor.
I love this place. We often go with friends. The food is great, the staff is great. Always a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. We kiss the chef's hands🧡 success, prosperity and adequate guests🫶
Cool stylistic interior, friendly staff, great food.
We took shakshuka with sweet potatoes, I really liked it😋
I come in often, it's always nice, thank you!
These comrades have a cunning plan to conquer the world - they make delicious food.
What treachery! ))))
PS. Yes, prepare your shekels: the price tag is above average. Well, what did you want? The interior seems to hint.
This institution was located in the house where they rented an apartment, so they accidentally came in and did not regret it. An interesting, free, friendly environment. The food is delicious, and the main specialty is pomegranate wine. In general, we were pleased when visiting Minsk - it's fast service.
For the second time in this cafe, it is delicious and satisfying, tables have already appeared on the street, it will be good to sit in the warm season. The space is small, it is better to book places.
Delicious, not cheap. I came at lunchtime, the time from ordering to serving the dish is 7 minutes. There is a lunch menu (soup to choose from and a second one).
Water is free of charge 😄
Cozy terrace directly on the Osmolovka
It's very cozy, everything is always busy in the evening. The nearby cafe is completely empty, and there is a queue (sometimes). Delicious coffee with cardamom, unusual food. You can eat well in one serving. Small portions of dessert, which I consider normal
I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious hearty vegetarian snack set, I definitely advise you to try it and was not shocked by the price. Another pet-friendly establishment, cuddled another visitor's dog :)
I definitely want to visit more :)
A small cozy cafe. There is nothing unusual in the interior. Prices are slightly above average, but the portion of food leaves much to be desired. Alas, I didn't take a photo of the soup, but there wasn't much. What swings the second one, you can see in the photo. There is not much food.
A cozy place with an interesting interior, friendly staff, quick serving of dishes and delicious food. We did not regret that we decided to come here :)
Dear guests, keep in mind that the hot sauce is really very, very spicy!
For delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere and a good mood - at Betengav. Coffee with cardamom is some kind of discovery, I was very surprised by the taste and my condition after. Usually it's hard to fall asleep after coffee at night, but here it's generally gorgeous 🔥
I go to the Beten Woof very often.
I always mark the speed of serving dishes. Satisfying and delicious!
A pleasant place with a pleasant staff.
I will also come in and call my friends♥️
There are vegan positions in the cafe. I especially like their soups. Zarechnaya cauliflower is excellent for them - a simple recipe, but how delicious! You can additionally ask for greens for the dish.
The staff is also polite and helpful. Here you can work on a laptop, a pleasant atmosphere.
Objectively, they can cook very tasty, the prices are normal, they made pita with vegetables, almost the most delicious mushrooms in my life were there, of the cons-you need to pour boiling water over the glasses or replace them with paper cups of the same size, since after tea with cardamom I brought herpes, I definitely couldn't pick up anywhere else, I treated for 2 months, never I'm not sick of them (but this is a fixable issue, catering is catering you need boiling water), so far I only order food, I'm afraid of glasses now)) very tasty falafel and meze, there are always a lot of people, the place is popular, but I don't like the mirror opposite the entrance-it's superfluous, it gets out of the interior and out of the subject, there are cool posters in the toilet, an original place with its own atmosphere. The service is good, although the guys are sad, maybe the shifts are too long
the place is small, it is possible to book a table.I really liked hummus)interesting cuisine, the portions are just right.definitely worth a try!the service is polite.
