I was in this restaurant on 06.10.2023. The place was chosen to celebrate the birthdays of three friends, the table was booked a few days in advance at 19:30, the administrator was also informed about the occasion (it seems that congratulations from the staff with a cake are supposed to be). From the very beginning, when at first no one met us at the entrance, and then we couldn't find our reservation, everything went wrong. As a result, they were seated at a table where there was very close to the seats for 4, couples were sitting at such tables.
The waiter came up quickly enough, ordered drinks, then for some reason another waiter came up and we ordered salads with hot somewhere at 19:45. Drinks were brought and here the waiting began. Closer to 20:30, salads were brought to three of us, there was no snack for me, they said it took a little longer to prepare. The friends ate, ordered a second portion of drinks. After 15 minutes, they brought the wrong drinks that they ordered. Fortunately, it was fixed quickly. At 21, I once again clarify where my snack is - "8 more minutes". And after that, the waiter stopped walking past our table. Half an hour later, the receptionist's girlfriend was already stopped, she also said to wait. They don't carry hot stuff either. The company is good, but I haven't eaten since day 12. At 10 pm, the waiter proudly brings hot "well, are you finally satisfied?". Where's my snack? "Oh, yes, you also have roast beef with mushroom cream," and a minute later brings a snack. The appetizer was supposed to be hot - the meat is barely warm. Risotto is more like congealed frozen rice. And this is for almost 2.5 hours of waiting.
I don't want to find out if the reason is in the kitchen, or in the waiters, but I would never have thought that you could expect your order so much. There was no congratulation, of course, although the other two tables were approached with sparklers and congratulated. This was the first and last time I visited this institution. An excellent territorial location in the very center of Minsk is spoiled by unprofessionalism and irresponsibility. 2 I put only for the potential of the snack, the mushroom cream was really delicious, and the meat is tender. Still served hot.

They paid 180p + 20 per person (their own alcohol). Of the stated "program" there were 2 contests and that was it. The food is also not wow, the snacks are delicious, but the hot stuff... it's trash. And most importantly, it was just that at +-11:30 a man came who had an apartment above the establishment and began to swear with the guests and staff that music could be heard in his apartment. Naturally, we didn't hear any more music that evening. The question for the institution is, why organize corporate parties if you know for sure that there are residential apartments above you and the tenants will obviously not be thrilled? In any case, this could have been at least a warning.

We didn't mind at all, but the singer left before closing time and by that time we hadn't even received an order yet, that is, we listened to only one and a half songs, and the cost of the program was also included in the bill for a three-year-old child.

We came to Minsk for a conference. The restaurant was located next to the venue, so we decided to look in there to eat.
The restaurant was empty, literally. Our company consisted of 5 people. We all decided to order pancakes, and two pizzas on the table.
While we were discussing the results of the conference, we did not notice that 40 minutes had passed since the order, and there was still no food. Naturally, we became indignant, but we were simply ignored, the waitresses and hostesses just passed by and cast contemptuous glances. We had theater tickets for the evening, we became nervous that we would be late. The waitresses feed with promises, and make a "dumb" face, answering monotonously "the order will be in 4 minutes."
In the end, we still waited for the food. The pancakes were terribly cooked, the pizza was normal (they would have ruined the pizza...). We swallowed everything in 10 minutes, and ran to the theater. We were 10 minutes late, fortunately the taxi driver arrived quickly, and the performance did not start on time.

BUT the peak was later: like, three drunken male personalities were sitting in a prestigious restaurant and prevented the rest from resting...Laughter and shouts filled the whole room and did not forget to molest other guests, insulting some at the same time. Fortunately, no one answered these three, otherwise the evening would not have ended well for the whole shift. It is quite a popular place in Minsk, in the evening almost all the tables were occupied. We took pizza, it was pretty decent. They tactfully refused us the pancakes, saying that the waiting time for the dish was 1.5 hours. Probably, the cost of pancakes is low, and it is impossible to prepare them in advance in large quantities, so they scare away visitors with a long wait.
In the evening, the summer veranda offers a beautiful view of the city.

- Pros:
1. Live music,
2. delicious food,
3. beautiful terrace
4. The dishes are brought at the same time and you will not watch your companion eat, while your dish was brought an hour ago. But you'll be waiting for your food forever.... But more on that later
- Disadvantages:
1. We booked a table on the terrace, and upon arrival we were allocated seats with a table below the seats. No one warned us that we would be seated at a table where they usually drink wine, tea, and smoke hookah. When we asked to be transferred to an empty normal table, it was refused, referring to the fact that this table was reserved. But his guests came only 2 hours later. And we booked the table just like the others. It was uncomfortable to sit and it took every effort not to get your clothes dirty
2. Be prepared for the fact that if you come after lunch, the sun will mercilessly bake on your heads on the terrace. No blinds or any kind of sun protection are provided. It was impossible to sit (June) until sunset
3. There is no air conditioning, the terrace windows are wide open, but at a temperature of + 30 it is unlikely to please you. A ceiling fan was spinning in the center of the hall, but it was neither cold nor hot in every sense
4. If you see items in the menu, it does not mean that they actually exist. Even if it's a whole category. They chose sushi - they don't cook sushi at all anymore.

The hot stuff was carried for about 1.5 hours!!!!! And the waiter didn't even say a word about the speed of serving dishes when he took the order
A glass of juice from the bag was carried for 40 minutes!!!!!! Not coffee, not a cocktail, not tea, and not even lemonade - a glass of Rich juice was carried for 40 minutes!!! It's impossible to even imagine!
2. The waiter pays absolutely no attention to you. If you are used to the waiter coming up to you as soon as you catch his eye and ask him to come up with a gesture - forget about it completely if you come to the Birch Tree. I personally "stared" at the waiter for 15 minutes, waving my hand in every possible way trying to make it clear. It was simply ignored.
3. The waiter brings a drink /dish and immediately disappears almost running, trying to get away from you faster, without even asking if we want something else, if everything is fine. He almost had to be shouted at to come back and take another order.
4. When the next position is brought, no one removes the already empty dishes, glasses, napkins
It's just a shame to work at such a level in the very center of Minsk
Show-offs don't bite, but the service is zero!!!!!

In an empty cafe, in the conditions of the menu, I repeat, "breakfast", where 5 dishes, our modest company managed to serve for 3 hours. No, we are not fans of eating a lot, just serving each dish for about an hour, whether it's a salad or even coffee. The food is average, the prices are overpriced, due to the location and interior, it's all clear, but come to breakfast and spend 3 hours of your life? People who have come to visit this country, hoping to "see the city", your personal and planned time is threatened by a meal in this wonderful institution.

There is nothing like good cuisine, professional cooking!!!!
We came to Minsk for the weekend, went to have lunch with the family, on Saturday it was a day off when there were few, very few visitors.
The service leaves much to be desired: it seemed that only one waiter worked, it took 20 minutes to wait for the waiter's attention to his table (I had to go to the reception desk behind the waiter). As a result, the waiter, who was annoyed by the visitors, dropped a bottle of wine from his hands when opening it, dousing the visitors.
The dishes began to be served 50 minutes after the order was accepted!!!! The next course was served after another 50 minutes. At the next table, the customers were also very indignant about the long wait.
Borscht was ordered from the first courses: this is a distant reminder of borscht, where cabbage, cut into strips, and carrots, cut into large cubes and two veins of meat floated in light pink water. The dish is completely empty, not brought to taste.
For the hot meal, we ordered pasta with porcini mushrooms (this is what it says in the cafe's menu card, on the website it says simply "with mushrooms": they brought "pasta" with champignons. To our question "where are the porcini mushrooms?", the waiter replied that they are also "present" in the dish. We probably didn't notice them.
The only dish that could be given a "4" was steak.
The result of our lunch: 2.5 hours of waiting time, a spoiled mood and an empty stomach.
The management of the institution needs to read the reviews of visitors. And it would not hurt at all to test the professional knowledge and skills of the kitchen staff! Of course, this is advice to the management, who themselves have professional knowledge in public catering, and not just money for a business restaurant.

It used to be our favorite restaurant in Minsk. But there are changes. One of the most surprising was the decision to replace the neat rag napkins on which the appliances were placed with paper sheets advertising ala cheap fast food cafe. When updating the menu, some dishes were removed, it so happened that some of them were our favorites (chocolate tart, eggplant). The waiters and even the hosts (!) with haughty faces, not a trace of a smile (except for a few waitresses, who are always happy to leave generous tips, it's like we “owe something” to everyone else).
