We arrived at the hotel in Shchuchinsk in the dead of night, but despite this, the receptionist politely greeted us and placed us in an improved standard. We didn't have tenge at that time (the exchanger doesn't work at night), but we were accommodated in advance with a deposit of 5,000 Russian rubles), the room was clean, the sheets and towels were crisp with cleanliness, the bathroom had everything you needed: shampoo, gel, toothbrushes, paste and disposable slippers. The only drawback in the room was the poorly running water in the sink, but this is not critical and the Wi-Fi is not working.
I was also pleased that when paying for a day at the hotel, breakfast is included in the price, it is quite tasty and nutritious, you can even choose from the offered assortment.
On the way back, we stayed at this hotel again and it is very convenient that you can pay not for a day, but for half a day) we stopped by in the evening and we just had to spend the night before a long trip, so it was very convenient not to overpay for the extra time we did not need) however, when paying for half a day, breakfast is no longer served)

I was in Shchuchinsk on a business trip, I lived in this hotel somewhere from October 29 to November 4. The food is very satisfying and at very reasonable prices. The bed in the room is comfortable, just to get enough sleep after a hard day. Except that the problem was with Wi-Fi - the network was not always caught in the room, I had to go into the corridor.
Does a business traveler need a lot for happiness?

The hotel is next to the railway station - 5-10 minutes on foot. There is a small parking lot in the courtyard.
There is breakfast. The restaurant is open until 23 o'clock.
It was a little hot.
The WiFi was unstable. It's better on the 1st floor.

The hotel is average, but apparently not bad for Kazakhstan, three and a half stars are solid.(I put four because in comparison with others it's not bad, in Russia I would put three) About everything in order, we arrived there to spend the night after midnight, there were no parking spaces anymore, someone had to block. The room was given without air conditioning, although we had previously agreed what would happen. (They probably thought that we, tired from the road, would not notice such a trifle in the forty-degree heat) We talked and were moved without question to a room with a condom, but the shower doors did not work there, which was extremely inconvenient. In general, the rooms are very small, the bathrooms are also tiny, there is no place to hang or even put towels. And so, in principle, everything is not new but clean, the staff is friendly and adequate. It is convenient that you can rent for half a day, for a full day the price does not exactly match the quality. In general, a decent flophouse can be spent the night without frills.

We stayed at the hotel for a day, it so happened that we arrived by bus to Shchuchinsk early in the morning and had to wait for our relatives, after a long move we really wanted to comfortably change clothes and relax a little) This hotel turned out to be next to the bus station, the price for the room was not very high, 7000 tenge for half a day, the room was clean, shower, towels, TV, we did not need more for a quiet wait. We had breakfast and lunch there at the hotel. I can't say that it was very tasty, the sausages are cheap and not very tasty, but the breakfast itself is fresh, quite acceptable in quality and affordable for money.
