We went with friends to the "White Elephant" on Nazarbayev, 26. The place, of course, is remarkable – the interior is interesting, the atmosphere is cozy, but with the food ... We ordered several dishes – everything is average. There was nothing special to say "wow!" directly. The portions, however, are quite large. The service was polite, but a little slow. In general, the feeling is that the place is based more on the atmosphere and location than on the quality of the kitchen. If you just want to sit in pleasant company, then it will do, but for gastronomic delights, it is better to look for another place. The price corresponds to the level, neither expensive nor cheap.

Every time we visit Almaty, we go to this restaurant to enjoy the warm atmosphere and delicious food. Tom yam is super, noodles, shrimp on skewers, you can't count everything - it's incredibly delicious!Not cheap, but acceptable. The staff is very friendly! The service is fast and accurate. Thank you. We will visit and recommend it to everyone.

I was there yesterday, ordered a tom yam, brought it barely warm, asked to bring it hot, put it in the microwave and still served barely warm. I won't come to this place, I didn't like it.

I've never seen anything like it! The reaction of the visitors is the same: everyone just quacks with pleasure! The food is so authentic! I recommend it to all lovers of Thai cuisine! And not only Thai!!! And what kind of baursaks are there! Mmmmmm! The most delicate and straight from the fire! Complete delight! I also ordered them myself! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! I read somewhere in the reviews that there is the most delicious Tom Yam in the city. Well, that's not true, he's just normal. Pad thai is not bad, but again, there is no real delight. And so, apparently, with the whole menu. The prices are reasonable, the service is good, the place is for once, there is no need to return.

A great place for a pleasant stay with family and friends!
It is quite rare now to find places where there is no noise and crowds of young people - the White Elephant is ready to offer you a pleasant pastime with good music)
The waiting time was about 15 minutes, which is good enough, since I did not think that Thai cuisine could be cooked so quickly. The chefs' professionalism is felt.
