There may be complaints about the kitchen, there is a lot to develop. The price tag is acceptable. There are several other cafes on the territory with lower prices, but the atmosphere will match the price tag, the cheaper the easier. At the entrance to the park on the left, two hundred meters away, the cafe is often loaded, but the draniki there are different from the restaurant ones for the better. We rented a room through Booking, everything is as simple as two and two. The room is decent, although not a suite, but everything is fine. The furniture is not new, but this is not the main thing) there is a TV, Internet, double bed, balcony, shower room. The towels are clean, the linen is too. It's nice to be here. A visit to the pool once was included in the room reservation price, the pool is 25m, about 6 lanes, I don't remember exactly. Clean, good. There is a tennis court, we played, although the mosquitoes almost ate it, they waved away the rackets) the coating is artificial grass. The football field is overgrown and neglected, apparently not in demand. There is a sauna, baths, you need to find out the conditions. We rode rental bicycles through the Forest. It's time to change them, they are already tired, because there are a lot of people who want to ride. You can bring your own bicycles. The Forest is magnificent, there is no way to describe it, you need to look for yourself. There are enclosures with wild animals, this is for an amateur, there are bison. That's it. There's not much to do there for more than two days)

I was upset with the restaurant. I ordered the soup "kholodnik" at 8 p.m. (3 o'clock before closing) - they refused to serve it, they say, no one will cook. The Caesar salad had ordinary cabbage instead of lettuce, but the Greek salad did not have cheese. The food itself leaves much to be desired. Perhaps the only thing that pulls at the level of a restaurant, not a dining room, is prices. They are higher here than in more delicious cafes.

According to the taste of the dishes, the level of the dining room, there is a feeling that they are heated in the microwave, I ordered 2 different positions of wine for a sample to understand what to drink, they brought impressive portions, in the bill it turned out that the price for 50 is indicated, it is not clear why they do not drink wine for 50, they punched 4 for each, it turns out that they asked you for I said yes to the glasses, but they explained that they asked for a glass of 200 and I did not hear it, but in fact I asked for a portion, the manager said that no one would pour you a portion, that's the point why specify the price for 50 and not for a glass as everywhere else. They didn't offer anything adequate to solve it, they spoiled the mood and asked what I was offering. - I said either to return the money or to say that you refuse, they said that then the bartender would have to pay, I left them to think. In general, I can't imagine first of all how with such a kitchen there are such estimates, I was in Brest in a cafe by the lake, it's just incomparably better. We ordered a table for 6 people, we come to rebook 2 hours later, they say that the table is already behind us for the whole evening, and they immediately sent another company saying that there are no seats, although they could put us in for a couple of hours just. And last time, apparently, part of our group was hungry when they arrived - they were told that there were no places in the cafe. This is what monopoly leads to, the absolute lack of at least some kind of management and attention to the process. They harm both their profits and customers. If the state also provides support, that's why they don't try, it's quite sad. I hope there is someone who cares about the image and will take action.

If you try to tell about the reserve itself , then you need to have a talent no less than that of Alexander Sergeevich .... But in short , it is unforgettable . Everything is interesting, and there was a walk , and aviaries and a restaurant with local tinctures where you can taste game! Senya! We went there only for a walk , but we "rolled in" so literally that we left for Poland, having passed our turn ..... well , they realized this not too late and in less than 40 minutes they rode 23 km on rental bikes in the opposite direction , right next to the closing of the rental . Realizing that the tickets purchased at the entrance to the Museum of nature and the inspection of the aviaries are missing . After that, it was decided to stay overnight in one of the available rooms of the hotel on the territory of the reserve.
The price tags for all services are very normal, although the rooms themselves, well , like , back in the USSR, or something like that, but with restyling and renovation)
After eight in the evening, no one checks tickets to the aviaries, of course, so after tasting venison and tinctures in the restaurant , yum , 56 degrees !!, you can have a good look at the bison , play with the wolves and feed the horses and "deer", or whatever they are.
I definitely recommend visiting with children , with a bike ride around the territory and a visit to the nature museum, where you can visit a surprisingly atmospheric, interactive performance for just 5 "squirrels" (about 150 rubles).

Even the deer tartare managed to make tasteless + served without croutons (must be ordered separately) and with tasteless cucumbers.
Fried pancakes with chanterelles turned out to be mediocre pancakes with pieces of over-salted pork. Normal pancakes should be crispy and golden in color, and fried from pieces of brisket fried to the same golden crust. The mushrooms were delicious - only their presence justifies the horse price tag, for a tasteless dish

The prices on the menu are unreasonably high just because of the name "restaurant". The most delicious is potato slices "rustic".
It is much tastier and three times cheaper to walk ~ 100m to the Lesnaya Skazka cafe.
I tried bograch, potato pancakes with minced meat (I don't remember the exact name) that are in a pot, caesar, bison meat in a pot, potatoes "rustic", warm salad with pork (by the way, it's not bad either), chicken with some kind of white cheese sauce (a little dry, boring).
A quiet family restaurant, our cheerful company was a little boring and stuffy.
It would be great to sit on the second floor of the restaurant, but you need to pay extra.

To be honest, I didn't like it. 1. Peas with game (venison) are small in size, the meat in it is tough. When I cook venison at home, it is soft, almost melts in my mouth. And here you can't even appreciate the taste, especially if you eat such meat for the first time, you won't want it anymore. And the vegetables in the dish are like mashed soup. 2. Salads - the portions are decent, but, as chef Ievlev says, if you want to spoil the dish, then balsamic vinegar will help you.
I didn't like that the appliances were lying right on the table, not in a napkin, not on a special stand or in a basket. It's not hygienic. The tablecloth is unlikely to be changed after each visitor.
The atmosphere is pleasant.

Otherwise, when the load subsides, everything is quite decent and pleasant. The staff is always polite, they fulfill orders quickly, and the cuisine is excellent.
Unfortunately, vacationing cattle come to the restaurant with their growing cattle-children who run around the hall, yell, make noise, but what can we do? We live among such animals and they also need to eat somewhere.

We have been here twice - in 2021 and 2022. The quality and price have changed significantly and for the worse. Prices are high, portions have become smaller, the food is tasteless and expensive. There was no live music this time. The situation is even worse in the cafes around. And they all close just in time for dinner - one before 18h, the other before 19-20h (on different days in different ways), just when people return from cycling in the Forest. The restaurant itself does not take long to wait, the service is good, the staff is polite. The interior is boring, the atmosphere is no. There is a choice in the menu, but not for any wallet. Many frozen foods, including pancakes and dumplings, are store-bought semi-finished products. It is possible with Children, but there is no children's menu, French fries, portions of which have halved from last year. Disappointment.

Unfortunately, the restaurant does not deserve more than two stars. The food is generally not bad, but the level of service is below the skirting board. We came for lunch, ordered borscht and pancakes. Borscht was brought in about 20 minutes later, it was already cold. The draniki waited 1.5 hours.
Unfortunately, there is no special alternative in the Forest, but if you are counting on a "decent" restaurant on vacation, then this is not the option.

We thought we'd get to a place like the Crimean Taigan, but no! Just a forest with paved paths. We rode bicycles on them, we did not meet a single animal. As we understood, there are no auto routes through this vast territory where one could see a herd of bison. It's just an immense forest area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There's not much to see. Except to get some fresh air. Catering works very interestingly: out of 4 points, only 2 worked, one of which was only up to 19. Then everyone was sent to a restaurant with a terrible price tag and infinitely long service.
For the sake of a tick, you can go, but I wouldn't go a second time
