In 2023, I successfully completed my studies at the university at the Department of FMk, having received a diploma in Logistics and the qualification of a Logistics economist.
One of the key aspects of my training was the opportunity to develop leadership skills in the role of a prefect. This role has given me valuable experience in organizing events, interacting with colleagues and solving various tasks.
In addition, the university has become a fruitful place for networking. I express my gratitude to this educational institution for the opportunity to create strong friendly and professional ties that continue to accompany me even after graduation.
The quality of teaching: Regarding the quality of teaching at the university, I would like to highlight outstanding teachers, professionals in their field. I am convinced of the high level of professionalism of the teaching staff in all departments, but I would like to elaborate on those with whom I had close contact.
Undoubtedly, the university has teachers who not only know their subject area, but are also able to convey their enthusiasm even in difficult matters. I had the pleasure of communicating with several teachers whose lectures and seminars have left an indelible mark on my education. Their ability to infect students with a love of the subject and make even difficult topics fascinating is great.
Thanks to such teachers, I not only expanded my theoretical background, but also received inspiration for further professional growth. Their example is the best confirmation that outstanding teaching is a key element of successful learning.
Infrastructure, offices and equipment: The academic buildings are equipped with modern lecture halls and laboratories, providing space for both lectures and practical classes.
Especially valuable is the fact that the buildings are placed close to each other, which makes it easier to move between classes. This turns out to be a convenient solution for students.
The university library provides an extensive selection of literature, sources and materials necessary for a successful educational process and research. The library not only serves as a place for learning, but also provides convenient recreation areas where students can spend breaks between classes in a comfortable environment, and even play board games.
But, unfortunately, not everything is so perfect. During the winter sessions, the temperature regime was noticeably low in many classrooms. This created certain inconveniences for students, especially considering that the official temperature requirements were not always met with those indicators that could be observed on thermometers in classrooms. Of course, maintaining a comfortable classroom climate is a key aspect of ensuring a comfortable learning environment.
It is also worth noting that despite the wishes to maintain comfort, some aspects of interaction with the staff cause misunderstanding. In particular, the strictness regarding outerwear in classrooms, which did not always correspond to temperature conditions, becomes a challenge for students. It is important that the rules are not only clear, but also flexible, especially given the climatic features. This will allow students to feel comfortable and maintain an active learning environment.
This aspect, however, does not overshadow the general perception of the university, and I hope that such points will be taken into account in the process of further improving the learning environment.
Social infrastructure:
1)The University canteen provides a variety of high-quality dishes. Regular menu updates and the availability of options for different dietary preferences ensure that every student will find something to their liking.
The spacious space of the dining room provides enough space for all visitors, and there are no problems finding places.
In addition to the dining room, each large building has a buffet where you can choose from a variety of snacks, drinks, pies and other delicacies.
However, despite the abundance of options, there is one aspect that needs to be improved. The ability to heat your food in the microwave is sometimes limited, which can cause inconvenience for students, especially those who prefer to bring their own meals due to various diets, allergies or cooking methods.
Despite this point, which can be refined, the overall quality of service in the dining room makes it a pleasant place for lunch and socializing.
2) The presence of wardrobes in each building of the university is a convenience that ensures reliable storage of things for students. The wardrobe staff takes care of order and cleanliness, providing students with access to their belongings at a convenient time for them. Good organization and wardrobe management simplify the daily life of students and create an additional level of comfort on the building.

Positive reviews: I would especially like to highlight the outstanding teachers who have made my studies rich and exciting. In their faces, I saw not only professionals in their field, but also real mentors who are ready to inspire and share their knowledge:
1) Macroeconomics: His lectures were genuine discussions, not boring monotones. He was able not only to explain macroeconomic concepts beautifully, but also competently, arousing students' interest and active participation.
2)Information Technology: His passion for teaching information technology was contagious. He managed to make the lectures fascinating, demonstrating that complex programs and client-server architectures are not so difficult, but, on the contrary, interesting and accessible.
3) He taught several professional disciplines and also prepares for coursework and practices: A person who makes studying disciplines not only an obligation, but also an exciting process. His concern for the students forced even those who were going to skip classes to stay, because he showed the most real empathy and people were just ashamed to miss out. During lectures, I always paid attention to the students' understanding of the material. He also always provided students with all the necessary papers in a timely manner to begin various types of practices and explained in detail what and how to fill out.
4)Logistics and Supply chain Management: Her tenacity in explaining difficult concepts and the extra effort invested in individual student assistance deserve special thanks. She demonstrated not only professionalism, but also dedication to her work, because not every teacher will sit in underpaid time with students and explain until they understand everything, this played an important role in all specialized disciplines.
5) Economic History: Probably my standard of a teacher dedicated to his work. Her lectures on economic history were a true immersion into the past, accompanied by complete dedication. Tatyana Vladimirovna not only conveyed the facts, but also sought to arouse comprehensive interest in the topic, feeling responsible for the full development of the material.
These teachers not only enriched my academic experience, but also became a source of inspiration, motivation and professional growth. Thanks to them, the learning process has turned into a real fascinating journey of knowledge.
Negative reviews: During my studies, I encountered some problems in the behavior of teachers, which made it difficult to assimilate the material and also stimulated rejection to continue studying at the university. Perhaps the most unpleasant thing is that other teachers and those in senior positions are aware of these incidents, but they do not prevent this in any way.
1)Production technology: Constant stories about the truth instead of specific information on production technology create confusion. In addition, the smell of alcohol was often felt on the fumes from the teacher, which did not contribute to the atmosphere of the educational institution. There have been ridiculous situations in pairs, when in a second a conversation turns from production technology to a story about an egg, about questions about what truth is, interpretations that truth is an egg, because an idea is born in an egg, like in a light bulb; what's what, and here the production technology is not clear.
2) Economic and mathematical modeling: the unusual behavior of the teacher who led our lectures and exams, such as conversations with herself during lectures, created additional difficulties for students in understanding the material. The exam acceptance system was complex and ambiguous, which added unpredictable consequences to the learning process: someone may not write anything and get a credit / grade; and someone may write everything correctly, come to the teacher for another pair, explain the decision of someone else's ticket under the pretext that if the student can explain the decision, then they will put an automatic machine and still send it for retake, because it won't be difficult to come again, the circus is all.
3) Transport logistics: lectures and practical classes did not provide useful material, since most of the time was devoted to stories about various situations involving students or so-called blockheads who were sent to the bathhouse. As a percentage, we had 15/85 useful material for stories about students.
Probably most of all, everyone was hurt in this story that the teacher was appointed the head of coursework in warehouse logistics — but the coursework on warehousing logistics, evaluated by this teacher, became the cause of misunderstanding of requirements and uncertainty for students when handing over to an already specialized teacher in warehouse logistics. What was it expressed in: 1. he does not have his own opinion, because of the fear of the teacher of warehouse logistics, and as a result it could be that everything was well written for him, but people were not allowed to take the exam because of the opinion of the profile teacher, and he did not interfere in any way and did not discuss defending his original point of view. 2. ideas about warehouse logistics at the student level, i.e. when a person writes everything correctly, he says to remove and add something under the pretext that it is not true, and then when handing over and in the presence of both teachers (his and profiled warehouse) it turns out that, in vain, the student added the material to his report /term paper, it was necessary to add what was originally there, since the profile teacher knows better from the warehouse, it turned out very absurdly.
4) Warehouse Logistics: Despite deep knowledge in the field of warehouse logistics, which shows that a person is really a genius in warehouse logistics, who understands and knows too much for a university teacher, because with his knowledge it would be possible to earn good sums, the behavior of the teacher caused difficulties. Frequent strange antics and inappropriate reactions created a negative impression, expressed in the fact that a person is either specifically trying to behave as strangely as possible in order to weed out more than half of the flow and their desire to attend lectures, or a person has inexplicable habits, since at the moment a person could just stand and make predictions that people would go to the exam overboard, because here is the law of the jungle, that is, the strongest survives. But the mention that you, as students, will go overboard, will be on your ear hourly, I will mention this to you every lecture and practical lesson with a lowered timbre developing into ominous malice with light and subtle hints that it is you who will go overboard. Tasks in practical classes are poorly explained, and students had to deal with the material in his author's book on their own, while he walks around silently and sometimes laughs mockingly at why students cannot solve the problem. The teacher started from the assumption that by listening to lectures and watching presentations, students should have already mastered all the material.
It will also happen that he will be able to just knock on the table in silence during class and start laughing hysterically with a strange laugh, it was indescribably funny at first, but then it was strange or even scary. Such an escalation of the situation could not even be sustained by students who studied for free, as they were depressed and frightened by this, and subsequently people moved out only because of emotional pressure. But even more strangely, this system of grades and taking exams sometimes seemed arbitrary and unpredictable. When a person during the check simply draws all the sheets in crosses from corner to corner with notes at the bottom of the sheet: linden, horns and hooves, rubbish, bullshit, money on the bench, you have a day to rewrite. What exactly is wrong? How much? How is it correct? Why is it crossed out? unclear. In such situations, the best solutions were excessive importunity and periodic annoying behavior to his personality, such behavior will lead to a result and the person will say what is wrong, otherwise I will always cross the sheets without explanation, from corner to corner.
Exams are too much subject to chance and mood, because he makes plans in his head about the students passing the exam and their number. Sometimes the teacher approached the students and pre-stated which of them would not pass the exam and who would not. This created additional tension and anxiety among the students, and the person to whom such a thing was said could not even answer yet, and how after that to get together and continue writing the exam when despair and confusion were already on the person's mind.
5)International Logistics and Research in logistics. During my studies, I encountered a number of problems interacting with the teacher. Below are a number of negative aspects that have significantly affected learning:
1. The discrepancy between the stories of reality: The teacher regularly confirms himself and shares impressive stories: about his high income, amounting to $ 6,000; about 5 higher education; knowledge and proficiency in 6 languages and 7 official jobs. However, these stories raise doubts about their veracity, especially in the context of the current role of a university teacher who complains to students about the small salary for the work he does. Actually, 2 questions loom: 1)Why do we need to talk about success, personal life and career achievements in many pairs, we did not come to listen to stories but to analyze the material? 2)then what did such a good specialist forget in the walls of such a disliked university?
2. Unethical behavior: The lack of respect for students, manifested in derogatory remarks and even physical impact on them, creates a negative impression of the learning environment if someone from the stream could speak in parallel with her, she did not stand on ceremony and could slap her rather than make a remark with a raised tone. Although she always addressed everyone to you, thereby showing that oral etiquette is just a beautiful wrapper of that very unethical nature.
3. Ignoring the rules of etiquette: Despite the fact that a person constantly addresses students to you, the teacher shows disrespect for the generally accepted rules of etiquette during the educational process. Talking on the phone during lectures and ignoring the rules of confidentiality when discussing students' personal data do not meet the professional standard.
4. Incidents during the epidemic: During the covid epidemic, the teacher appeared in class with symptoms of colds and even corona, despite recommendations to stay at home, guided by the fact that we need knowledge, i.e. she came for us so that we would not miss the material but get sick. This demonstrates a lack of attention to the health of students.
5. Lack of focus on the subject: Instead of focusing on the teaching material, the teacher was often distracted by stories about herself, her previous students and their antics, or by criticism of the university. This definitely prevents the full assimilation of the subject, because focus and concentration on the material are lost.
6. Arbitrary grading system: Grades in exams seem to be as arbitrary as possible and depend not on knowledge, but, it seems, on the personal sympathies of the teacher. A person can go to lectures + practices + laboratory and get an assessment depending on the point, either a plus sign or an assessment on a leaf, or just according to some gender principle, or maybe not go and still get an automatic just because you are dark and she liked you. Also, the score in the test was based on the results of the audience voting, if everyone screams 9, despite how you studied and walked you were given 9 (and we actually shouted 9 to everyone), the truthfulness of my words can be checked by the presence and number of sheets on which the work was written, because only 5 people handed over the sheets to her, two of whom , in connection with such an assessment system, took away the documents and were generally disappointed in the university's assessment system. This creates an injustice in the evaluation process.
7. Unprofessionalism when checking papers: The teacher does not show objectivity and professionalism when checking student papers, which subsequently led to the sending of 8 people for retake, under the pretext that the work was not sent for admission to the exam. Further disputes and disagreements of the teacher after proof of sending the work create additional difficulties for students, and absolutely anyone can check how your letter was sent in any browser using the developer console. In the future, the teacher may appeal that she needs to be reminded to check, but we reminded her hourly during the lectures. Arbitrary decisions on the verification of works, unfairness in the evaluation process, lack of objective criteria, have a negative impact on the motivation of students and call into question their honesty and competence.

In the end, despite a number of discovered difficulties and shortcomings in the educational process, which happened not only to my group but to a whole stream and groups of students earlier, my university provided me with valuable experience and fundamental knowledge, excellent educational and social opportunities necessary for my professional growth.
The learning process in my chosen specialty was full of challenges, but nevertheless, I am grateful for the educational and social opportunities provided by the university.
It is important to emphasize that despite a number of problems, bright positive moments stood out in the educational process. The Dean of the faculty deserves special thanks for her understanding and support provided to students in various situations. Her ability to get into a position and create a supportive environment made the educational process more enjoyable and productive.
I express my special recognition to the specialist in working with students of the correspondence department. Her professionalism and patience in dealing with students, as well as her willingness to provide assistance in various matters, made the training smoother and more effective.
For me personally, the university has become a place where I received a comprehensive education. I am ready to recommend it to those who are looking for an education where the learning process is accompanied not only by knowledge, but also by support from experienced and responsive teachers and administration.
However, despite the positive aspects, it should be noted that on the way to gaining knowledge and experience, it took too much nerves, especially due to the unscrupulous behavior of some teachers. This aspect, alas, affects the general perception of the university experience and leaves a serious aftertaste.
For this reason, my rating is 3 stars. There were plenty of opportunities for learning, but I repeat, the collision with unscrupulous teachers created additional difficulties and energy costs. It is important that the university pays attention to this aspect and takes steps to improve the situation in the educational process.
