IT'S A SHAME! My son went to the open day from Vitebsk, he is going to the Faculty of Architecture, he was really looking forward to this day, he expected a lot of interesting things. But there are no representatives of the faculty!!!! It wasn't even there. How can you treat children who travel from afar in this way?
The security is working disgustingly, the central entrance is closed, but it is open closer to the bus stop to Independence Avenue, but if it is necessary to go further than the stadium, they do not let you in, they turn you around on foot through Doroshevich, even with a pass and a certificate
A place with 0 organizations. When checking into the dorms, you can wait for lists for more than 4 hours! It is mandatory to check in with a signed order in paper form and brought to the hostel. Moreover, the check-in time on the site is indicated from 9:00. As a result, in our time we get outdated IT approaches to organizing work and unreliable information about the beginning of the settlement time.
Please take this into account. Since people arrive at 9:00, moving out at night on the road. Arriving at their destination, they receive dissatisfied faces and a mood, disgusting work.
A good place to, stupidly, get a crust for parents, understand what student life is and that education is not needed now and does not play any role in later life) It is IMPOSSIBLE to fly out, you need to be as stupid as possible or try very hard and generally do nothing to get kicked like a gray cat. 80% of all exams, credits, and term papers are written off, bought, and given up. After graduation, expect to work out an average of 600-800 rubles a day. A good place to get a lot of new friends, acquaintances, understand what student life is, etc. My advice is, do not waste 4 years in vain, in parallel study something, like programming, freelance, some hobbies, so that after leaving the university you do not stay with a naked f ** * and be able to do something that will bring you a good income
Fond memories of friends.
Creepy about the educational process.
Outdated ideas about education. And barbaric attempts to educate adults.
The only plus is the atmosphere of the campus of a large educational institution, as in the movies.
The territory has been cleaned, the repair of buildings is slowly progressing. Teachers are like good people. Of course, the training is not up to par, but if you wish, you can study to become a decent specialist.
as a place for education, well, you can't think of a worse BNTU, the territory itself is well-groomed and beautiful, the university staff cleans every day, very nice people. the appearance of the buildings is better than the same main building of the BSU

I graduated from this institution in 2019, old classrooms, old teachers. At my faculty of PSF, which is considered the best in senior courses, it was more or less, but nevertheless I do not advise going to study as an engineer, especially if you plan to work without crossing the border.

The last time was in 2020. At that time, the university needed repairs, wooden(!) windows were installed in large quantities in some places. And this is in the capital of the republic. And this is at the best technical university in the country. Graduates are in-demand specialists, it is easy to get to the main building.
According to my observations, I can say that the prestigious university looks nice, the territory is well maintained, there is security. According to a fellow student in it, everything is basically fine, the main thing is to study and not to throw.
Nothing has changed since the Soviet Union. Externally, the building has a more attractive appearance, inside... a la the 70s and even worse. As an educational institution... I do not know why they are called "the best university in the country". Distance learning has shown, unfortunately, that the technical university is not ready for this. Neither technically nor as a teacher...
Now the main building has been restored and it looks better and the audience is much more pleasant, but I do not advise you to come here for a fee for sure, it's wasted money, it's better to overpay and study at bguir or bsu
The territory is excellent, the stadium is paved
There are never strangers on the territory because of the security
I've never been inside the building

The university with the strongest laboratory base in the country, the presence of a military department for guys! If you love technology, come here! (Not to be confused with programming) On the downside, be ready to study next to people who do not want to study and interfere with you in every possible way.
I am ashamed that I studied here. The university changes its position every 5 minutes: At first they claimed that everyone has their own point of view and it's okay to defend it, then they started calling riot police on students who came with opposition symbols.Studying at the university showed me that in order to teach, it is not necessary to be literate, one's opinion must always coincide and that in our country no one cares about education.

The university has a high quality of teaching subjects, teachers are willing to participate in scientific activities, it is possible to go abroad for student exchange, the metro station, tram stop and bus stops are located next to the university, so it is convenient to get to them. It is a pity that the university buildings are quite old.
The BNTU academic building. There is a branch of Belarusbank, a coffee shop, a hardware store. The Dean's Office of ATF. Departments: engineering graphics, technical operation of cars.
I don't know how to study there, but it looks like Hogwarts at a minimum. Well, on the other side of the courtyard (near the library), it's not the worst one I went to while I was in College (MRC), because my food was worse.
In general, the university is good. But he smells very old somehow. The year is 2019, and at the university everything is from the 90s or the noughties. The desks are painted. The walls are poorly painted. The feeling when you enter, as if you get into a relatively simple college. Outside the university, I do not argue for 5/5 . But here's the inside... Leaves much to be desired.
I'm shocked, they don't want to give me a diploma! I've been waiting for 2 days, I'm tired!
And you know what? They WON'T GIVE it TO me! And you ask, when will they give it back? AND they DON'T KNOW! Shortly..
The main entrance and some corridors were repaired, but, ala Belarus, there was not enough for everything, most of the classrooms have not changed since the 90s, the same story with the hostel
The main building of the Belarusian National Technical University. BNTU is the leading educational institution in the national education system of the Republic of Belarus.
There are many foreigners and Belarusian students at the university. Which means that the university is in demand. It's always clean inside. There is a private parking.
One of the last universities in Minsk, which has not yet been disfigured by the Bologna system. But the management is making every effort to devalue the education of this university.
There is a large bureaucratic apparatus, little freedom, and training is often the old-fashioned way. But there are many sections and clubs, a swimming pool and a dispensary.
A good university. If you gave a little free will, you would gradually start moving into the top 500.
And so the modern education system is killing the last education at this university
