Belorusskaya Cosmetics store in Kompas shopping center — inflated prices, rude service and violation of confidentiality
After visiting the Belorusskaya Cosmetics store in the Kompas shopping center, I encountered an extremely unpleasant situation. On the showcase, the shampoo was marked with a price tag of 43,800 soums, but at the checkout, the price suddenly turned out to be 81,800 soums — almost twice as high. To my reasonable question why the price did not match the indicated one, the seller replied that she "did not have time to remove the old price tags" and refused to sell the product at the price indicated on the showcase, which is a direct violation of consumer rights.
Seller's responsibility? — No, thanks.
When asked, "Whose fault is this?", the employee bluntly stated: "Mine," but she did not admit the mistake, did not offer compensation or apologies, and refused to change the price, citing the fact that she works alone.
They closed after the purchase and... changed the price tags
Immediately after my purchase, the store closed for a while, and the seller began to urgently change the price tags. A legitimate question arises: why wasn't this done before the opening, or at least after the first remark?
Violation of confidentiality
After I filed a complaint with the authorized body (the Consumer Rights Protection Society), the store's employees apparently gained access to my complaint and "identified" my identity, violating the rules for handling personal data. This is absolutely unacceptable and goes beyond professional and legal ethics.
What is the result?
The store where:
The price tags don't correspond to reality;
The staff refuses to admit mistakes;
The customer is blamed for the store's problem;
Basic politeness is missing;
Personal information is being leaked;
— it cannot be trusted and does not deserve the attention of customers.
Conclusion:
I strongly recommend not visiting the Belarusian Cosmetics store in the Compass shopping center. They do not respect the customer, ignore the law, and do not comply with basic trade and data security standards. Your money, nerves, and personal data are at risk.
