The location of the lighthouse on the territory of the archaeological park makes it the most famous of the five located in Cyprus. The park and the lighthouse are two completely unrelated objects. Different cultures, epochs, centuries, eras. Apparently, the construction of the lighthouse here is due to the suitable terrain. Namely, the high seashore allows lonely ships to see it from afar. It was built in 1888, but has not lost its purpose until today.
There is a maritime museum in the lighthouse building. Unfortunately, the visit to the lighthouse is now closed. Inspection from the inside is also impossible, as well as climbing to the observation deck.
