Friends, I visited an amazing corner of our planet, the island of relaxation, tranquility, smiling kind, responsive, friendly people, the island of Ceylon.this is the magical name of Ceylon tea, (in New Year's sets of the USSR) precious stones (in the fairy tales of Rimsky-Korsakov's music), amazing palm trees which, due to the special climate, are no longer anywhere, monitor lizards walking often right on beaches, roads, between cafe tables, huge peacocks instead of chickens on the streets and many other interesting things.I will say the best thing-this is the ocean with turtles, (there are everywhere right into the shores, especially where there are turtle beaches) friendly people, (many people do not know that the USSR collapsed, they ask how we live.food prices are about the same as in Moscow, prices for a local taxi here, (according to the local application to the local SIM card, online taxis are cheaper), name your price, bargain- they will take you. In all cafes there are large hearty portions, take curry (these are several dishes at once), markets in villages are cheaper, fish in fish markets, the price is dropped directly from the ocean if you ask (constantly rare types of fish) ... there was no smell anywhere at all! sewerage ... toilets are mostly everywhere, free of charge.do not go into forest areas even in villages, there are snakes hiding from the heat, and they are very large.A lot of mosquito sprays can be bought there.visit the tea plantations and the English town in the center of the island, the residence of Queen Victoria (it's cool there, get dressed).the town of Alley in the mountains became the center of youth gatherings, very beautiful mountains, good cafes and beer festivals began to be made as in Europe.Ceylon is a fabulous island.there are a lot of very cheap flights (for example, for November for five, ten thousand rubles - this is available if you want to visit this amazing island)Ceylon, - I am happy that I have been there!
I went by boat, it was 20-30 minutes from the hotel.., it was interesting to see the coastline, compare it with our beach)) it's not big, the bay, the beach is not big either, but there are not many people either - those who are fed up with hotel life decided to see something new. I would not say that, jungle, - nature, sand, water as everywhere. The beach is not the most comfortable and equipped, but I liked snorkeling in that location 👌straight off, - volcanic bottom, ledges, visibility to depth and lack of people, you can see not ordinary fish, sometimes even too large for me)) accordingly, I would not have gone on purpose, but if you are somewhere on the location it is very curious, plus buying up in the wild, cooling off from the scorching Sri Lankan sun is not bad
It's a wonderful place, there are practically no waves, you can get there by taxi or by boat, it's cheaper by taxi, but the rescue is very long and a bit dangerous, it's cool on a boat, but not cheap. There are sun beds, but for an additional fee of 1000 rupees, you can eat, order drinks, there is a shower and toilet, I recommend it to everyone, but it's better to come in the morning and for the whole day, GOOD LUCK AND NEW EXPERIENCES!!!
