A beautiful, iconic place in Budapest. You can listen to the organ. There are many restaurants and eateries around. (I do not recommend going to a Japanese restaurant, the view is beautiful, the service is excellent). But you must go to Strudel's House!!!

A place of worship in Budapest. A beautiful cathedral . Every day you can buy a ticket and listen to a small classical music concert. There are many cafes and summer verandas on the square in front of the cathedral. The aesthetic pleasure of contemplating the cathedral is guaranteed to you. On Christmas Day, a fair is held on the square - a bright and delicious one. Funny . Street musicians often perform. It is impossible to be in Budapest and not visit the cathedral and the square. I highly recommend it.

A majestic cathedral with an observation deck around a huge dome with panoramic views of the city and 2 bell towers. It is worth climbing the spiral staircase for the stunning view from the height and photos.

The main temple of the city. From the partial relics of St.Stefan or Istvan, the founder of Pest. Maybe I'm wrong about what he actually founded. It's beautiful, there are a lot of tourists. Entrance is paid. You can climb the dome and walk around the observation deck. But there is an inconvenient entrance- an elevator for 4 people - you will have to stand in line

It is a very beautiful and majestic place, although the basilica was built relatively recently - in 1905. Crazy architecture and decoration. A huge organ. And the most sacred thing for Hungarians is the right hand of the first king of Hungary, St. Stephen, is kept here. I recommend it to everyone who will be in Budapest to visit.

A beautiful basilica built in 1905 on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of Hungary.
It is unusually richly decorated for a Catholic church. At one time, 56 kg of gold was used for gilding.
For a fee, you can take the elevator to the observation deck. Entrance to the cathedral is officially free, but in fact for a donation of 200 forients.
Inside there are many beautiful statues, paintings, a magnificent statue of St. Stephen, the baptist of Hungary, a sarcophagus with the right hand of the saint.
Nicely. Expensive. It's rich.

Probably the most beautiful temple in Budapest. If you are in the center of Pest, then it will be visible from many points. For a small fee, you can climb to the observation deck - first by elevator, and then up the stairs (if I'm not mistaken, there are exactly 93 of them). There are wonderful views of Budapest from the observation deck. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby where you can sit.
