A huge beautiful cathedral on a hill in the Montmartre area. At the entrance to the cathedral, we bought and closed a small lock for luck. There is a beautiful view of Paris from the steps of the cathedral. Inside, all visitors walk in a circle, inspecting the architecture. It is very beautiful and monumental.
The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
Which is visible from half of Paris.
Located on the top of Montmartre hill (oh, how much in this word, for the heart of the Russian merged - how much it echoed! ..)
It is worth a visit.
To suit the mood.
That's how it is - a typical Catholic cathedral.
It is possible to limit yourself to the views from the steps.
But inside it is beautiful: light, a beautiful central nave and countless side walls with their saints and their atmosphere.
If you get there at sunset, God willing: stained glass windows and cartoons will be shown on white marble columns.
We were lucky: it was Orthodox Easter and, apparently, in honor of the feast of the Holy Resurrection of the Lord, the sun showed us the cathedral in all its splendor
There is a stunning view of Paris. Nearby are the Moulin Rouge and Montmartre. The place is amazing for its beauty. You can see almost all of Paris. I recommend a visit.
The exterior of the basilica is good, and despite its relatively young age, it has become one of the business cards of Paris. The mountain with the basilica lit up in "Amelie", it is loved by tourists and besieged by crowds. But this movement is somehow perceived normally. Those wishing to visit the Basilica need comfortable shoes: hiking trails usually lead through steep stairs. But there is also a more gentle - and longer - option, and even bus number 40, which comes very close to the basilica, squeezing through the narrow crowded streets of Montmartre. It's also a decent sight from the inside. The queue is long, but it's moving fast. There are a lot of souvenir shops, artists with paintings and cafes with crepes around
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Christ. The pearl of Paris. Entrance to the basilica is free. Its snow-white domes at the top of Montmartre Hill are visible from anywhere in Paris. The basilica looks down on the city from a height of 130 m.
A must-visit.
A beautiful cathedral with a magnificent view of the whole of Paris. Despite the huge interest from tourists, it is very noisy and bustling outside, but inside it is quiet and peaceful. Must-visit
The Sacre Coeur Basilica on Montmantre Hill. It is made of white stone. And it is visible from afar. A large height difference. Stairs lead up, those who take care of their feet can use the funicular.
A majestic temple on the highest hill in Paris. A place of strength and faith. There are a lot of tourists, but the queue moves quickly. Admission is free. Nearby on Montmatre there is a beautiful observation deck overlooking the city.
Beautiful architecture, lovely surroundings - artists, narrow streets, cafes and restaurants. It is very bright and quiet inside, there are a lot of tourists and at this time there is a service.
Judging by the photos of other authors, few people were at the top of the dome of the basilica. But taking into account the height of the basilica and Mont-Mart hill, the total height is comparable to the height of the Eiffel Tower, under which thousands of people gather every day to get to the tower.
I highly recommend it. A picturesque and inspiring place, inside. The outside depends on many factors. But alas, homeless people in Paris are not uncommon lately.
It is necessary to visit in sunny weather.
It is better to climb from the funicular side.

A wonderful place, truly magnificent architecture that refers us to the once flourishing form of urbanism and art... The perfect place for duels! I advise everyone.
While in Paris, you need to take at least one height, the Eiffel Tower or the Sacre Coeur Basilica. I managed the second one. The ascent was carried out on its own, all the time up the stairs of the streets, up a huge staircase to the observation deck and all the way to the Temple. The basilica has architecture and interior decoration in the Byzantine style. I will never forget the feeling with which I crossed the threshold into this wonderful House of God on earth. After a long ascent, a breath, a step and in front of your eyes inside the Temple is a mosaic flooded with light - the Lord, pure, majestic beauty and love that envelops! You feel that you have risen to God! There are a lot of believers inside, in general, the attitude to faith in France is quite reverent. I really remember the statue of St. Joan of Arc.'Ark with its attractive power! They pray to her for healing from various diseases and perseverance in experiencing difficulties. All this is amazing and remains in the memory for a lifetime!
Then you can admire the views of Paris from a height, walk around Montmartre. The violets of Montmartre are still in bloom, artists create nearby in workshops and sell their creations in the famous courtyard, cozy cafes receive their visitors.

One of the iconic places not only in Paris, France, but throughout Europe. The place is filled with the romance of two centuries. Not visiting it is a crime against oneself.
The second most important Catholic church in Paris. Its snow-white bulk rises on the Montmartre hill and is visible from many places in the city. The temple is quite young: construction began in 1875 and was completed only by the First World War. The height of the bell tower is 100 meters. The weight of the main bell is 10 tons, and the weight of its "tongue" is 850 kg. Last time I was here on duty. The nuns in white robes sang beautifully in the choir.
A must-visit. In addition to the beauty of the cathedral itself, there is a beautiful bird's-eye view of Paris. I recommend it! After visiting the basilica, you can walk down the huge staircase to Montmartre.
The most unusual temple: admires the architecture of the basilica and the interior mosaic. The most formidable Jesus is depicted inside the basilica - it was amazing. Electronic candles are a European innovation. For 2€ you can turn on the candle. And the view of the city is amazing!!!
I recommend getting to Montmartre and experiencing previously untested emotions!!!
The Sacre Coeur Basilica... It is definitely necessary to visit here. Of course, there are a lot of people, but you can still find a place and sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the surroundings of Paris. I advise you to walk from the center past the Forum de Alle and Saint Eustache along the streets of Paris. Well, after visiting the Sacre Coeur Basilica, take a walk around Montmartre. A bunch of photos are provided)
I really liked it, the entrance to the basilica itself is free, it costs 7 euros to climb the observation tower (September 2019). The view is amazing. The whole of Paris is in full view, while the basilica itself is also cool to see. I advise. I've heard the opinion that the views from there are better than from the Eiffel Tower. I can't confirm or deny it, but I definitely liked it here!
